In this paper, the focus is on studying and understanding the technical behavior of the SIW textile antenna when located near the human body. Thus, based on the electrical properties of conductive material and the dielectric characteristics of the Felt substrate, a 5.5GHz electro-textile antenna was designed. The proposed antennas are simulated in free space, while the performance of antenna is investigated for on-body condition. The simulated impedance bandwidths of the proposed antenna in free space and on phantom are 120MHz and 110MHz at 5.5GHz respectively. The efficiencies of the antenna at 5.5GHz are 95.8% in free space, and 91.6% on phantom, respectively, meanwhile the gains of that are 8.64dB and 9.35dB, respectively.

This kind of environments allows users to assign shared resources with freely chosen keywords (tags). Folksonomies provide a valuable addition to the knowledge organization methods since they allow users to choose vocabularies that meet their real tastes and cognition. However, the lacking of standardization and the flat structure of tags in folksonomies pose challenges for folksonomy searching and information retrieval. Several researches have been proposed to overcome these drawbacks. In this paper, the authors present, describe and compare the most relevant approaches to capturing hidden semantics in folksonomies and turning it into ontologies. The authors also present and describe many techniques, tools and online resources that can be useful in working on such systems. Finally, the authors propose an approach to extract ontology from social taggi...

The implementation aims to increase the availability of data, modernizing data protection and reduce in loss of data in the cloud storage environments. Also this solution could provide new information and gives addition that is useful for further researches and open new opportunity for the future cloud storage.

Among these, we are interested in the required total BTS power and maximum capacity supported by the cell in the downlink direction. This direction requires more radio resources, thus it is more delicate to optimize. In this context, we express these two parameters as a function of the quality of service (QoS) received at the level of a mobile station activating a certain service (voice, video, etc) and as a function of various radio interface problems such as: multipath, neighbouring cells effect, pathloss, thermal noise due to equipment, etc. Keywords— WCDMA, downlink, multi-service network, capacity estimation, interferences, total power BTS estimation.

Research paper thumbnail of Capacity Enhancement by Using a Multi-User Detector on Uplink Synchronous Mode

The USTS gives better performances when we have an ideal case presented by no channelization code restrictions per scrambling code. In reality, channelization codes are limited. To resolve this problem, several scrambling codes are used to admit more users in the cell. However, the use of different scrambling codes increases the multiple access interference and consequently decreases uplink capacity gain, since signals transmitted by users under different scrambling codes are non-orthogonal. To obtain more performances and therefore to increase the uplink capacity gain, we will study the introduction of a multiuser detector for interferences cancellation, in uplink synchronous mode. For that, two values of interference cancellation efficiency  of the multiuser detector are considered. In this study, only the multiple access interference is reduced. To show the effect of other-cell interferences on uplink synchronous mode capacity, two scenarios are considered: an isolated cell and a multiple cell network.

A hybrid structure with an isolated dielectric resonator (DR) and an equivalent air-dielectric DR is introduced by lifting the resonator from the ground plane. The hybrid structure is excited by a slot-fed mechanism to obtain a smooth transition between each resonant mode. The resonant modes of the isolated DR and the equivalent DR are merged together to form a wideband impedance bandwidth. It is found that the bandwidth of the proposed antenna can be greatly enhanced by using the hybrid DRA structure instead of the case mounted on the ground plane. A detailed parametric study is carried out to analyze the characteristics of the proposed antenna. Measured results show that the proposed DRA has a 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 61% from 2.4 GHz to 4.5 GHz and the radiation pattern is stable through the operating frequency.

The increasing of information overload and consequently the decrease of its quality are the main problems of this domain. Content Management Systems (CMS) provide the ability to publish on the web by offering simple publishing tools for ordinary users with no technical skills. Content available on the web created using the CMS is not well controlled and requires efficient process that evaluates its quality. Therefore, Content Management Systems contribute to the problem related to information and content quality similarly to Web 2.0 tools. The mechanism of validating content has proved a high-level of content's quality control by involving users in the process according to Web 2.0 philosophy. From these perspectives, we develop Validated Content Management System (VCMS) as a new Web 2.0 tool that supports content validation mechanisms. This article presents the VCMS and its ability to provide an effective quality control for web content. We introduce a new manner of collaborative publishing and we give an overview about features of our system and its core architecture.
