The population growth every year causes an increase in land demand. This has led to conversion fr... more The population growth every year causes an increase in land demand. This has led to conversion from agricultural land to non-agricultural land, especially in urban areas where people in rural areas migrate to cities, one of them is Magelang. The agricultural land decrease and impacts less production. The concept of urban farming provides a solution for urban areas to maintain agricultural production by utilizing residents' yard. On the other hand, urban farming practices must still pay attention to agricultural sustainability, so they are maintained in the future. This study aims to determine the priority of urban farming development strategy in Magelang by using criteria in the dimension of sustainability. This study used the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method by involving several expert respondents in conducting the assessment. Based on the analysis results, the sustainability dimension's priority is the social dimension. Meanwhile, the priorities in each economic, ecological, social, technological, and institutional dimensions are income of women farmers group members, land availability, motivation of women farmers group members, cultivation technology, and the role of agricultural extension. Based on the criteria in the dimension of sustainability, the priority of Magelang's urban farming development strategy is integrated agriculture. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research on the development of urban farming through integrated agriculture.

However, activities both upstream and downstream are still not well developed so that Indonesia is still importing horticulture to meet domestic needs. Because the potential for horticulture has not been maximized, the Ministry of Agriculture is holding a Horticultural Village program, one of which is in Central Java. The Horticultural Village Program that has been running requires a strategy to increase its sustainability. This research was conducted in Central Java to determine strategies to improve the sustainability of the horticultural village program. The method used in this study is multidimensional scaling (MDS) with the rapid appraisal for horticultural village (RAP-HORVI) technique or RAP-HORVIs. This study aims to examine the value of cost and profit of the tofu industry and the impact of so... more This study aims to examine the value of cost and profit of the tofu industry and the impact of social economic factors to industry's profit. The basic research method is descriptive and analitic. Method of determining location is purposive. This study was conducted in Tidar Selatan Sub-District because of highest population based on Department of Industry and Trade 2018. The number of sample is determined by using Slovin's Formula. Sampling by accidental sampling was 50 respondents. Analysis of the data is using: (1) cost and profit analysis; (2) social-economic factors analysis with multiple linear regression. The results of the business analysis indicate that the average cost incurred by producer's tofu in Tidar Selatan Sub-Dsitrict, Magelang Selatan District, Magelang City on one month is Rp44.695.794,00, the revenue Rp55.927.800,00 per month, and the average profit is Rp11.232.006,00 per month. Socioeconomic factors of soybeand cost and business status have a positive effect and labor cost has a negative affect to the business' profit in Tidar Selatan Sub-Dsitrict, Magelang Selatan District, Magelang City, while the experience business, formal education, age, and number family dependents do not affect the profit of business in Tidar Selatan Sub
