Crowd violence endangers human lives and has proximity to crime-related problems. This study disc... more Crowd violence endangers human lives and has proximity to crime-related problems. This study discusses the crowd violence handling of the Magelang City district police. Participatory research, action research, and document analysis are applied to unearth the phenomena. The crowd violence in Magelang can be analysed using the two relevant theories: 1) psychological and 2) environmental criminology perspectives. Nevertheless, their application has not yet been detailly explained in this study. Cooperation with relevant parties is needed to endeavour more law-abiding adolescents. Moreover, the crowd violence prevention strategies the at district police level shall be established and reviewed periodically to find better and more appropriate methods. Hence, crowd violence may be reduced and prevented for the advantage of broader society.

This paper uses the Viable System Model as a framework model for Indonesia’s anti-corruption measures. The model is used by author to understand the Indonesian anti-corruption parties’ measures in a single model, understanding the problems inherited to the agencies and giving solutions for them to improve anti-corruption measures for the effectiveness of the achievement of better Corruption Perception Index for Indonesia.

Th... more Economic development relation with corruption and anti-corruption have been a long discussion. The research shall try to know about the works of anti-corruption function of the INP and its contribution to economic developpment. This research explores the works of the Directorate for Corruption Crime and how the works is connected to national economic development. Anti-corruption works of the INP are contributing to economic development through several ways. Firstly, the directorate does its main job in investigating corruption cases. Corruption case investigation has additional task on how on finding assets of prepetators as retribution of state loss caused by corruption. Secondly, the directorate is mandated as police unit which is advanced as free from corruption area sample within police force.
