The study appraises the library services in the state to highlight the library services development to the populace of the state. The survey research method was adopted and questionnaire was used to collect data from 110 library users and 20 library staff within the headquarter library. The findings provide platform for the public library services to be geared toward the 21 st century demands of high-tech and innovative information environments.
