If the adequate filter bank is not used, the sound from each loudspeaker will be heard by the improper ear with a delay and a response dependent on the head. This effect is undesirable in applications like binaural reproduction. We propose to implement a crosstalk

Male OF1 mice were subjected to an open field test (OFT) to observe their motor activity and latency. Subsequently, the animals were divided into three groups: Stress-Non-Inoculated (SNI), Stress-Inoculated (SI) and Control-Inoculated (CI). The SI and CI groups were inoculated with tumor cells and the SNI group with vehicle. SNI and SI were exposed to social stress with an anosmic intruder six (T1) and twenty one (T2) days after inoculation and their behavior was analyzed. After T2, subjects were put down and the pulmonary metastatic foci counted. SI developed greater pulmonary metastasis than CI, indicating an effect of stress despite the animal's dominant status. Active animals developed less pulmonary metastasis than their passive counterparts. No differences were found in social behavior at T1. Differences were found, however, in some behavioral categ...

Different constant deposition temperatures were employed in the range of 20-80±C. From X-ray Diffraction (XRD) results can be observed that intensity of CdS peak is abruptly reduced when deposition temperature is decreased. By SEM images the formation and change in shape and size of crystallites can be observed as temperature is decreased. The forbidden energy band gap was 2.4-4.1 eV, determined from optical absorption. The formation of products was further confirmed with FTIR studies.

Different Cu-doping levels were obtained changing the volume of the Cu-reagent-solution into the PbS growing solution. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical absorption (OA) measurements were carried out to characterize the semiconductor. The morphological changes of the layers were analyzed using an atomic force microscopy. Diffraction X-ray spectra displayed peaks at 2 theta = (26.00, 30.07, 43.10, 51.00 and 53.48), indicating growth on the zinc blende face. The grain size determined by X-rays diffraction of the undoped samples, was found -37 nm, whereas with the doped sample was - 32-25 nm. Raman spectra reports strong band in - 133-140 cm(-1) attributed to a combination of longitudinal and transversal acoustic modes. Optical absorption, forbidden band gap energy (E(g)) shift disclose a shift in the range 1.4-2.4 eV. Gibbs free energy calculation for the Cu doping PbS is also included heading.
