Uno de los medios más importantes para almacenar, usar y divulgar diferentes recursos académicos ... more Uno de los medios más importantes para almacenar, usar y divulgar diferentes recursos académicos son los repositorios de investigación. Con el propósito de mejorar el diseño centrado en el usuario en estos repositorios, se propuso como aporte un conjunto de criterios de verificación categorizados en siete heurísticas de usabilidad. Mediante estos criterios y heurísticas, se desarrolló una herramienta de evaluación que fue utilizada para la conducción de una inspección sobre el repositorio académico de la Universidad de Lima, permitiendo obtener un conjunto de recomendaciones para mejorar la usabilidad del repositorio.

In 2021 Peru exported 250 thousand tons of coffee, ranking seventh among the main coffee exporter... more In 2021 Peru exported 250 thousand tons of coffee, ranking seventh among the main coffee exporters in the world compared to the 4,000 thousand tons exported by Brazil, which ranks first. This research project aims to optimize coffee export processes through the development of management software for these exporting companies that allows them to have optimized processes, better control of their activities and make better decisions when exporting. Due to the great variety of types of coffee and the different destination markets, market segmentation was defined as a marketing strategy, which will allow the application of differentiated, efficient and effective commercial strategies. With the implemented software, the companies have been able to improve their export processes, the complexity of the different objectives and scenarios, the software plans quite accurately, as well as the calendar, volumes, and types of coffee to be exported. This helps coffee exporters to have adequate control of their activities and improve export processes, being more efficient and above all, making better decisions based on the information stored; With the use of a management tool, a higher percentage of organized producers is achieved, the export process is considerably improved and there is a greater participation in the international market.

The objective of this research is to reduce the dropout rate of students in the Faculty of System... more The objective of this research is to reduce the dropout rate of students in the Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos – FISI-UNMSM, through the implementation of an intelligent system with a data mining approach and the autonomous learning algorithm (decision trees) that predicts which students are at risk of dropping out. It was developed in Python and the free software Weka, for this purpose student data was collected from 2014 to 2020. This solution increases the availability and the level of satisfaction of the faculty; in the learning process, an accuracy percentage of 90.34% and precision of 95.91% was obtained, so the data mining model is considered valid. In addition, it was found that the variables that most influenced students in making the decision to abandon their studies were the historical weighted average, the weighted average of the last cycle and the number of credits passed.

The article examines the teacher/student perspective about E-learning modules that could be appli... more The article examines the teacher/student perspective about E-learning modules that could be applied to the courses of the Administration career at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos based on 2 methodologies that project a better vision of teaching. To carry out these methodologies, it is necessary to review the results obtained in a survey to determine the factors that influence student learning through the proposed E-learning modules. As a result, 6 factors were obtained to validate whether these E-learning modules are suitable for Flipped Classroom and B-learning Methodologies. It is important to highlight that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, different teaching methods have been chosen virtually, and the evaluation carried out; it was determined that 40% of the students who are virtually taking their courses feel satisfied and eager to continue studying using different technological tools.
