Once more, medicinal plants are being researched for the treatment of lung cancer. Prototypical compounds found in medicinal plants have been the source of many conventional medications. In-silico testing of Phyllanthus niruri phytoconstituents for anticancer efficacy was a part of our investigation. Design: Utilizing Discovery studio, molecular docking is done to assess the pattern of interaction between the phytoconstituents from the Phyllanthus niruri plant and the crystal structure of the anticancer proteins (PDB ID: 5OTE). Later, SwissADME and pkCSM were used to screen for toxicity as well as the pharmacokinetic profile. Results: The docked results suggest that luteolin (-8.2kcal/mol), and caffeic acid (-6.5kcal/mol), for 5OTE macromolecule has best binding affinity towards MRCK for anticancer activity on prostate as compared to the standard drug lenvatinib mesylate (-3.4kc...

The said fungus was isolated from soil of dumping area near Nagpur (MH) India. Decolourization of fungus carried out by isolation of fungus by serial dilution of soil followed by pour plate technique was followed the colonies showing zone of decolourization are picked for further study. The isolated fungus was identified by macroscopic and microscopic study. Isolated fungus was named as green fungi and white fungi. This fungus showed decolourization at room temperature under static condition. Enzyme assay was performed at different weather conditions. The decolourization was due to bioabsorption or biodegradation, fungus were grown in liquid culture growth medium using bagasse particles as a natural lignin source using n-propanol as a substrate at wavelength 300 nm, spectrophotometrically. The enzymatic characteristics (pH and temperature) of ligninperoxidase were studied using n-propanol as substrate. The isolated fungus was co-immobilized in Ca-alginate beads and their decolourization efficiency was determined. The isolated bacteria and fungus were immobilized and showed decolourizing activity.

The formulated tablets fulfilled all official (I.P.) requirement of dispersible tablet and give fast dissolution of amoxicillin plus cloxacillin sodium when compared to conventional marketed tablet of same drug. Study reveals that Dispersible tablet formulated by osscarmellose sodium employing gave fastest dissolution of amoxicillin plus cloxacillin sodium.

The antihyperglycemic activity of aqueous extract of Gymnema sylvestre and their combination were evaluated; diabetes was induced in albino rats of either sex by a single intraperitoneal injection of aqueous alloxan monohydrate (120 mg/kg). Single dose study with aqueous extract of Gymnema sylvestre (100 mg/kg) -Combination treated, equal proportion, 100 ml/kg and showed significant (p < 0.001) decrease in serum glucose level at 2, 4 and 6 hr. Continuous treatment with aqueous extract of Gymnema sylvestre (100 mg/kg), Combination treated, equal proportion, 100 ml/kg for a period of 28 days showed a significant decrease (p < 0.001) in serum glucose level in diabetic rats. Maximum reduction of serum glucose level occurred -Combination treated, equal proportion, 100 ml/kg. It may b...

Cefixime has the absorbance maxima in zero order spectra in 230 nm (method A). Method B applied was first order derivative for the analysis of Cefixime at 238.5 nm .Method C applied was area under curve in the wavelength range of 234-228 nm. Drug followed Beer-Lamberts law in the concentration range of 503.5 μg/ml for zero order, 10-60 μg for area under curve methods and first order derivative spectrum. The percentage recovery of Cefixim ranged from 98.05 to 101.075 in pharmaceutical dosage from result of analysis was validated statistically and by recovered study.

The Anti-mitotic activity was screened using Allium cepa root meristamatic cells which have been used extensively in screening of drug with antimitotic activity using methotrexate as a standard. The anti-proliferative activity was screened using Yeast as a model system. The methanolic extract showed lowest mitotic index. Methanolic extract have maximum growth inhibition of yeast cells, growth inhibition increases as concentration of extract increases.
