His research was conducted in PT. Lumbung Padi Jie Brothers Pematangsiantar, and data was colected by fielf research and was analized by descriptive method and multiple regression. This study shows that fixed assets, long term debt, and equity together significantly influence financial performance. As a partially, fixed assets significantly influence financial performance, but long term debt and equity partially not significant influence financial performance.

The objective of this research is to analyse a company’s bancruptcy by the use of Altman Z-Score ... more The objective of this research is to analyse a company’s bancruptcy by the use of Altman Z-Score model. This study used the descriptive quantitative analysis method. The data used are secondary data, the annual financial statements and income statements of each company. Data were analyzed using four X ratio defined by Altman and were used to calculate the Z score of each company in order to determine its health level. The analysis shows that in 2010 - 2012 the company's health condition was not good. In 2010 the company was in the gray zone, then the next year the company's condition declined, and in 2012 it was at an unhealthy condition/bankrupt. Telkom is in a healthy state and has increased each year, Indosat is in the unhealthy zone with Z score tends to increase every year. By knowing the health condition of a company, corporate management is able to evaluate each financial ratio and fix the company's financial performance in order to survive and compete.

Objek penelitian yang diamati selama lima tahun, yaitu periode 2007-2011. Kurun waktu selama 5 (lima) tahun ini dilandasi oleh tersedianya data hasil perhitungan PDRB Kabupaten Nias Utara dan data PDRB Provinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2007 hingga tahun 2011. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Location Quotient. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sektor sektor pertanian, sektor pertambangan dan Penggalian.

Untuk menganalisis perbedaan kinerja keuangan Bank Nasional dengan Bank BUMN 2009 â€“ 2011 dengan menggunakan proksi rasio keuangan CAR, RORA, NPM, ROA dan LDR. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode survey terhadap 18 Bank yang telah tercatat di BEJ. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik Independent Samples T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan Capital Adequacy Ratio Loan to Deposit Ratio, dan Call Money antar Bank Nasional dengan Bank BUMN. Capital Adequacy Ratio kedua bank masih berada di atas kriteria kondisi baik yang ditetapkan Bank Indonesia, yaitu melebihi 8%. Jumlah anggota populasi adalah 31 orang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau sensus. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada responden untuk mencari data yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. The purpose of this study is to test and determine the Bank's health level consisting of capital ... more The purpose of this study is to test and determine the Bank's health level consisting of capital adequacy ratio (CAR), net interest margin (NIM), and non performing loans (NPL) partially or simultaneously on bank profitability based on data from the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The population of this study is all state and private banks listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (ISE) amounting to 40. Observations are conducted from 2012 to 2016. The results indicate that capital adequacy ratio (CAR) does not have a significant effect on bank profitability. Net interest margin (NIM) improves the growth of bank profitability. This can happen because NIM has a component of net interest in its ratio. Non performing loans (NPL) have a negative effect on bank profitability.

M... more The price of stock is not only infuenced by companies internal factor but also external factor. Market risk is one of risk that must investor encounter. Market risk depend on macro economic condition, such as change of inflation and interest rate . The effect of global market, such as Dow Jones Industrial Average Index can also influence market risk. Therefore, this article examine the effect of inflation rate, SBI rate, and Dow Jones Industrial Index to IHSG index. This research consist of independen variable, such as inflation rate, SBI rate, and Dow Jones Industrial Average index, and dependen variable, IHSG. Data analysis technique is multiple regression analysis. The conditional test for multiple regression shows that all of data fulfill the multiple regression requirement, and the testing of multiple linier regression model conclude that the inflation rate, SBI rate, and Dow Jones Industrial Average index are affecting the IHSG.

This piece of research intends to explore and analyze the local government's executive role in de... more This piece of research intends to explore and analyze the local government's executive role in developing and implementing the governmental budget as well as the role played by the legislative body in approving and supervising the budget, to examine the respective influence of these roles on the realization of good governance.This research study comprises analytic observation made by way of the survey method, and is non-experimental in nature. Sample collection has been arranged through purposive method, which means by considering all members of the local population, except members that categorized as new local governments. The Research Unit is made up of 13 local governments at Regency level and 6 local governments at the Municipal level. The respondents are local government executives and the Local Legislative Body's Budgetary Committee. The total number of respondents amounts to 540 and the completed questionnaires amount to 420. The analytical method employed is the so-called Path Analysis. The result of path coefficient shows that local government's executive role moderately high influential in terms of affecting the realization good governance, and based on hypothesis test, its influential is significant. Meanwhile, the result of path coefficient shows that the legislative body's role weakly influential in terms of affecting the realization good governance, but based on hypothesis test, its influential is not significant. Furthermore, the result of path coefficient shows that local government's executive and the legislative body's role simultaneously influential in terms of affecting the realization (enhancement) of good governance, and based on hypothesis test, its influential is significant. These findings are supported by previous research and various theories based thereon.

The population in this study is consumers who visit and buy products at the Creative Economy Business in the city. The number of samples used in this study were 384 respondents with the Cochran formula.
