It coversall dimensions in human life. Since the way people understand themeaning of justice differs from time to time and from generations toother generations, it is worthy to trace the original meaning of justice.This article tries to describe the root of justice in the religious realm.Justice is regarded as a virtue which is imprinted in the human being.Human beings are created in the image of God. As a consequence, beinghuman means being just as God, the creator is just. Practicing justicein human relations is a way of making justice which stems from Godcan be tangible. This is the imperative of doing justice in the world.

This article specifically describes the model of public theology development played by the Cathol... more This article specifically describes the model of public theology development played by the Catholic Church of the Diocese of Ruteng in responding to the destructive impacts of tourism development in Labuan Bajo - West Flores. The main issue that will be described in this article is that there are a number of destructive impacts in the development of the Labuan Bajo tourism industry that sacrifice the interests and lives of local people. The development of Labuan Bajo tourism only provides benefits for business actors and state actors, while the local community must bear the burden of destruction due to tourism development. On the other hand, the public role of the Church has not been so significant. The research method used to elaborate this article is a qualitative study with a contextual theological paradigm and approach. Teaching authority in Roman Catholic is entrusted to apostolic college of bishops with Pope as it... more Teaching authority in Roman Catholic is entrusted to apostolic college of bishops with Pope as its head. This authoriy has been developed from the ouset of christianism. It is believed that the the apostolic college has handed over to bishops as their successor. The teaching authority performed by bishop is restricted to faith and moral matter. Their teachings in these matters obtain an infallible character. As far as the faith and moral matter are concerned, the infallibel character is accepted. Issues regarding politics, economics and so on are not in domain of the teaching authority of Magisterium. Catholics are strongly recommended to give their obbedience to the teachings of Magisterium. Are there possibilities to dissent from these teachings? This article demonstrates historical development of teaching authority in roman catholic and its implementation.

Integral vision of human person lies behind of all Church teachings. Pope John Paul II dedicated ... more Integral vision of human person lies behind of all Church teachings. Pope John Paul II dedicated his life in building a philosophical base the integral vision of human person. His philosophical works heavily owe to Thomistic strands. This study describes the integral vision of human person proposed by John Paul II. The phenomenological method was used to describe actual human experiences and also the experiences of the human being as presented in Sacred Scripture. The findings revealed that some elements of the integral vision of human person are presented to highlight the contribution of John Paul II in unending search for a sound perception of the human person. Looking at the integral vision of human person as such serves modern people in responding to massive propagation of objectivized vision of human person.

Amanat UUD 1945 alinea ke-4 yang mendorong tujuan pendidikan untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, secara operasional diimplementasikan dalam rencana strategis pendidikan formal melalui rancangan kurikulum 2013 yang menekankan “peningkatan akhlak yang mulia”. Ada berbagai nilai karakter yang ingin ditanamkan pada peserta didik. Salah satu nilai karakter yang penting adalah nilai moral religius. SMAK Setia Bhakti Ruteng, Kabupaten Manggarai, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur merupakan salah satu sekolah menengah atas yang fokus pada penanaman nilai karakter religius khususnya nilai moral Kristiani. Sesuai spirit pengelola sekolah, yaitu Para Suster SSpS (Servorum Spiritu Sancto), nilai moral Kristiani/Katolik merupakan pusat perhatian pengembangan karakter di tempat ini.
