El estudio presenta una reflexión acerca de la situación existente en México con relación a la pr... more El estudio presenta una reflexión acerca de la situación existente en México con relación a la práctica de leer y consumir productos editoriales. Se estudia la preferencia que tienen las personas hacia las revistas, el diario y el libro. Desde ahí se teje la relación establecida entre consumo y lectura; para con ello entender la situación actual del consumo editorial en la ZMG. En el presente trabajo el tipo de investigación fue descriptiva, con diseño de campo, no experimental, para lo cual se elaboró y aplicó un instrumento de recolección de datos sobre hábito, consumo y conocimiento editorial en la (ZMG), a una muestra donde intervinieron 491 personas. Los resultados indicaron que el hábito de la lectura no es muy predominante frente a otras actividades de ocio. En cuanto a la preferencia del producto editorial se demostró que las revistas y periódicos son más favorecidas en su consumo por los lectores, que el libro, y que el precio de éste si es un factor determinante en su adqu...

The goal of this paper is to illustrate how INSPIRE can facilitate orientation and advice to calc... more The goal of this paper is to illustrate how INSPIRE can facilitate orientation and advice to calculate the water requirements of crops. These technologies can provide information adapted to specific conditions, updated daily and in an interactive way. These tools permit the integration and management of georeferenced agroclimatic data, soil maps, quality of waters, crop information and technical parameters of a farm. The final objective is to develop a decision support system to facilitate decision-taking processes in a comfortable and generic access on-line, incorporating different techniques and access into GIS data. The information technologies and in a more precise way, the new technologies, applied in different agriculture environments, can introduce important improvements in optimization of the agricultural production factors. Directive 2007/2/EC1 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE) entered into force on the 15th May 2011. INSPIRE lays down general rules to establish an infrastructure for spatial information in Europe for the purposes of Community environmental policies, and policies or activities which may have an impact on the environment. One of the aspects that INSPIRE regulates is the interoperability and harmonization of spatial data sets and services for 34 so-called data themes that are laid down in the three Annexes to the INSPIRE directive. These include land-cover, land-use and weather data.

Con el objetivo de comprobar la resistencia de dos accesiones de paja Johnson [Sorghum halepense ... more Con el objetivo de comprobar la resistencia de dos accesiones de paja Johnson [Sorghum halepense (L.) Pers.] a nicosulfuron y foramsulfuron+iodosulfuron y evaluar su control químico se establecieron dos tipos de experimento: uno de respuesta a dosis y otro sobre control químico. Se utilizaron las accesiones resistentes (R) SH206P y SH209P y un testigo susceptible (S) SH194A. En el primero se usaron dosis de 0; 3,75; 7,5; 15; 30; 60; 120; 240 g·ha -1 i.a. de nicosulfuron y 0; 4; 8; 16; 32; 64; 128; 256 g·ha -1 i.a. de foramsulfuron+iodosulfuron para las accesiones R y 0; 0,47; 0,94; 1,88; 3,75; 7,50; 15; 30 g·ha -1 i.a. de nicosulfuron y 0; 0,5; 1; 2; 4; 8; 16; 32; 64 g·ha -1 i.a. de foramsulfuron+iodosulfuron para las accesiones S. Para evaluar el control químico los tratamientos fueron: nicosulfuron; foramsulfuron+iodosulfuron; piribenxozim, imazapir+imazetapir, bispiribac-sodio, penoxsulam, profoxidim, glifosato, pendimetalin, S-metolacloro e isoxaflutole en dosis de 30; 30+2; 50; 115,5+38,5; 40; 60; 160; 2040; 1920; 1440 y 52,25 de g·ha -1 i.a., respectivamente. Se demostró que SH206P y SH209P tienen resistencia a nicosulfuron y foramsulfuron+iodosulfuron y mostraron índices de resistencia de 147 y 1096 para el primer herbicida y 386,59 y 292,78 para los segundos, respectivamente. Los herbicidas profoxidim, glifosato, pendimetalin, S-metolacloro e isoxaflutole controlaron eficazmente las accesiones R y S, cuando éstas se originaron de semillas sexuales. Las accesiones R no fueron controladas con piribenzoxim e imazapir+imazetapir. El bispiribac-sodio controló la SH206P y SH194A, mientras que S. halepense demostró ser tolerante a penoxsulam. ABSTRACT To ensure optimal performance of small and medium power solar photovoltaic installations... more ABSTRACT To ensure optimal performance of small and medium power solar photovoltaic installations is crucial to monitor and evaluate the parameters of the same. However, there are not on the market standards to allow joint monitoring and remote evaluation of these plants. This paper presents a software architecture that allows the joint execution of these tasks. Communications with the different plants is done using a standard of communication through which it is possible to integrate data from all plants in a single tool. As an example of the use of this software an application developed to monitor and supervise 40 gridconnected photovoltaic systems with different configurations and subsystems is presented.

A cell can be seen as an adaptive autonomous agent or as a society of adaptive autonomous agents,... more A cell can be seen as an adaptive autonomous agent or as a society of adaptive autonomous agents, where each can exhibit a particular behaviour depending on its cognitive capabilities. We present an intracellular signalling model obtained by integrating several computational techniques into an agent-based paradigm. Cellulat, the model, takes into account two essential aspects of the intracellular signalling networks: cognitive capacities and a spatial organization. Exemplifying the functionality of the system by modelling the EGFR signalling pathway, we discuss the methodology as well as the purposes of an intracellular signalling virtual laboratory, presently under development.

We define Poincar\'e series associated to a toric or analytically irreducible quasi-ordinary hype... more We define Poincar\'e series associated to a toric or analytically irreducible quasi-ordinary hypersurface singularity, (S,0), by a finite sequence of monomial valuations, such that at least one of them is centered at the origin 0. This involves the definition of a multi-graded ring associated to the analytic algebra of the singularity by the sequence of valuations. We prove that the Poincar\'e series is a rational function with integer coefficients, which can be defined also as an integral with respect of the Euler characteristic, over the projectivization of the analytic algebra of the singularity, of a function defined by the valuations. In particular, the Poincar\'e series associated to the set of divisorial valuations associated to the essential divisors, considered both over the singular locus and over the point 0, is an analytic invariant of the singularity. In the quasi-ordinary hypersurface case we prove that this Poincar\'e series determines and it is determined by the normalized sequence of characteristic monomials. These monomials in the analytic case define a complete invariant of the embedded topological type of the hypersurface singularity.

The gold complex [IPrAu(NCMe)]BF(4) catalyzes the reaction of ethyl diazoacetate with benzaldehyd... more The gold complex [IPrAu(NCMe)]BF(4) catalyzes the reaction of ethyl diazoacetate with benzaldehyde to give mixtures of ethyl 3-oxo-3-phenylpropanoate and ethyl 3-hydroxy-2-phenylacrylate in the first example of a group 11 metal-based catalyst for this transformation; the catalyst activity is improved by a factor of 2500 compared to those of previously reported iron-based catalysts.
