In the field of medicine, ontology describes the concepts of terminologies used in medicine. Many papers present ontologies that describe the relationships between medical concepts, which thus enables the sharing of medical information. The use of ontologies in the field of medicine and healthcare is evolving. This paper will introduce the development process of an ontology for the cardiovascular diseases.
