Assessment tool and to assess the correlation between Morse scale and fall risk assessment tool among patients admitted in hospital and to determine the association of risk of fall with selected clinical and demographic variables. Material and Methods: Quantitative non experimental approach and descriptive research design was used in the study. 100 patients from ICU, ICCU and emergency unit were selected by convenience sampling. The tool for data collection are Morse scale and fall risk assessment tool (FRAT) i.e. which were for assessing the risk of fall. The data obtained was analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: Result showed that the mean percentage of Morse scale (45) and FRAT (9.18) and R value (R=0.857*, p=0.02) was statically significance at 0.05 level. Computed Chi square value with Morse score and no. of lines (31.695) found to be statistically significance and other clinical variables were not statistically significance at 0.05 level. Computed Chi square value of FRAT score and BMI (14.586), no.of lines (31.695), Systolic blood pressure (14.732) were statistically significance and other variables were not statistically significance at 0.05 level. Conclusion: Use of Morse scale and fall risk assessment tool (FRAT) is effective in identifying and reducing risk o fall in hospital.

Because children are nosy and mobile, they come in to contact with a variety of people and animals. The close proximity in the school setting provides chance to be exposed to infection agents. (Viruses, bacteria, fungus, insects and animals) in addition, children tend to share personal items. One of most common infection in girls is head lice. Head lice are one of the commonest ectoparasites of man in and spending their entire life cycle on the host. There are three distinct varieties of lice which are specific for human. Objectives of the study are : to assess the prevalence of head lice among school going girls. To find out factor influencing the head lice. Hypotheses were formulated on the basis of objectives and statistically analyzed the data which is collected from sample of 100 girls in ambala district of Haryana. Non- Experimental descriptive Survey method was adopted. The data is col...

The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique and divided into four groups: PFG (15), PMG (30), HAG (30) and CG (30). The interventions used were palm fisting exercise, proximal massage, and hot application. Data was collected by using VIP scale and VRS scale. Findings revealed that pre test and post test phlebitis mean rank scores at 3 rd day were 2.00 (Z=-1.73, p=0.08), 5.00 (Z=-2.89, p=0.00), 6.00 (Z=-3.13, p=0.00) and 8.04 (Z=-3.3, p=0.00) in PFG, HAG, PMG and CG respectively and pain scores were 5.50 (Z=-3.05, p=0.00), 7.00 (Z=-3.29, p=0.00), 4.50 (Z=-2.59, p=0.01) and 8.50 (Z=-3.63, p=0.00) in PFG, PMG, HAG, and CG respectively. There was an association of risk of thrombophlebitis with method of drug administration (ᴎ=1, p=0.04) and with use of anticoagulant drugs (ᴎ=1, p=0.04) in PFG group and pain score with method of drug administration (ᴎ=5.0, p=0.05) in PFG and age (ᴪ=10.48, p=0.01) in CG. The use of hot application was most effective and palm fisting exercise was least effective.

In late December 2019, Patients with pneumonia with unknown etiology was get admitted in health care facilities in Wuhan, China, and resulted in a pandemic disease which affected more than 200 countries and responsible for 182,989 deaths worldwide. The disease is officially named as Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19, by WHO on February 11, 2020). COVID-19 is a potential zoonotic disease with low to moderate (estimated 2%-5%) mortality rate. Currently, there is no definite treatment for COVID-19 although some trials are under investigation. Hence, appropriate use of PPE, regular hand hygiene, Respiratory and cough etiquettes, social distancing are some key elements to prevent the spread of disease.

Among them testicular cancer seems to be increasing now a days. Testicular cancers form 1% of all malignancies in men in India. It adversely impact their lives-both in terms of longevity and quality. 2 A descriptive study to assess the Testicular cancer And Testicular self-examination in terms of awareness and Expressed practices among Medical male students at selected university of Haryana. Materials and method: the research design adopted for the study was non experimental with descriptive design. The study was conducted in the Medical male students of selected university of Ambala, Haryana. The purposive sampling technique was used to obtain the sample size 200. Result revealed that 2.5% were having very good knowledge regarding Testicular cancer and Testicular self-examination and 4.5% were having very good level of expressed practices regarding Testicular self-examination. The highest mean% (64%) was found in the area of knowledge regarding anatomy and risk factors of Testicular cancer (43.5%) of students were mildly affected.

To assess and compare knowledge and skill regarding self-blood pressure monitoring among hypertensive client before and after administration of planned teaching programme. To determine the relationship between knowledge and skill regarding self-blood pressure monitoring among hypertensive client. A quantitative research approach using quasi experimental research design (one group pre-test post-test) was adapted for the study. The data was collected from 60 hypertensive clients of Mullana village, Ambala using Structured knowledge questionnaire and Observation checklist. The study observed that the mean post-test knowledge score (8.20) was significantly higher than the mean pre-test score (2.35). The mean post-test skill score (8.67) was significantly higher than the mean pre-test skill score (0.18).There was a weak positive statistical relationship (r=0.25, p>0.05) between knowledge and skill. It is concluded that planned teaching programme was effective in enhancing both the knowledge and skills in self-monitoring of blood pressure among hypertensive clients.
