Treating disease and recommending the diet and exercise is required to efficiently manage health conditions of patients. In this paper, we considered some major diseases and a system has been designed and developed that recommends probable diet and exercise to help people manage their health well. This system analyses the input parameters that are entered by the end user and provides personalized services for users in the form of recommendations for their diet and exercises. The recommendation is done using user interface based on symptoms initially entered by hospital staff given by patient. The disease prevention plays an important role in improving the public health. "Healthcare Management System" is a system which uses modeling based on prediction (Predictive modeling) that tries to predict the disease the user may be suffering from on the basis of the symptoms that user provides as an input to the system. The system analyzes the symptoms provided by the user as input and gives the probable disease as an output. Disease Prediction is done by applying the Naïve Bayes Classifier.

MANET can be built with the mobile nodes which can move anywhere at any time. This results into the dynamic topology of MANET. Each node is responsible for routing the message from one node to the other like a router, causes network more vulnerable to the different attacks. In this paper we will discuss about the gray hole attack type of DOS [2] attack, detection and prevention technique which disrupt the various network parameter as throughput, PDR and degrades the performance of the network.

A plenty number of proposed routing protocols are magnificent in terms of efficiency. However, proposed protocols were generally fulfilling the set of trusted network and not considered for adversarial network setting, hence there is no security mechanism has been considered. MANET is widely used in sensitive fields like battlefield, police rescue operation and many more in such type of sensitive field an attacker may try to gather information about the conversation starting from the origin node to the terminal node. Secure route selection approach for route selection in adverse environment is discussed in this article. The results shows that proposed algorithm, will resolve the single & collaborative attack by increasing the computational & storage overhead and by improving the significant PDR, achieves a noticeable enhancement in the end to end delay.

All mobile nodes are operated on limited battery power. Wirelessly charging these nodes is a challenging task. Node consumes energy for route discovery, transmitting packets, receiving packets, sleep mode and ideal mode. Efficient use of an existing battery node is the emerging field of research. Many researchers designed and proposed new techniques and some researchers are combining various existing techniques to minimize the energy consumption and improve the lifetime of the network. Energy efficient route selection mechanism is proposed in this paper. Repetitive use of same efficient route for communication is avoided, and selection of alternate route on the basis of energy threshold value is proposed. This will improve the overall lifetime of the network.

Educational Data Mining (EDM) is one of the trending areas in which various researchers are worki... more Educational Data Mining (EDM) is one of the trending areas in which various researchers are working for the betterment of the student's performance. Predicting the students' performance is considered as an important task in education sector and is of paramount importance as predicting the performance accurately may lead to great future of students by analyzing data properly. This article presents the review of 32 research articles which are from ACM, IEEE, Springer and Elsevier research database. This article analyzes these research articles based on number of research articles considered from research database, publication year, performance parameters, number of performance parameteres used by research articles, Data Mining Techniques, number of algorithms used by research articles, and dataset size. It is found that classification technique is used in EDM for analyzing students' data and in classification technique, mostly employed algorithms are Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Naïve Bays, Support Vector Machine and Knearest Neighbour. Generally the performance parameters such as accuracy, precision, recall and F-measures are used to decide the performance of the classification algorithms. This review article will be helpful to those researchers who are working in the EDM for predicting students' performance for the dataset obtained from education sector.

A collection of mobile nodes without any fixed topology forming an instant network is referred to... more A collection of mobile nodes without any fixed topology forming an instant network is referred to as ad hoc network. In such type of network, each node works as both host and router simultaneously, and has the ability to move out or join in the network freely at run time. The network that is created instantly does not have any base infrastructures as in case of the conventional networks, but it is compatible to those with the conventional networks. Since the nodes in a Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) can serve as routers and hosts, also as it is highly dynamic in terms of topological changes. Choosing the appropriate mobility model in a particular environment that represents the moving behavior of the mobile node that should be realistic is very much critical. Changing the mobility scenario, allows changes in routing performance of a protocol in terms of routing metrics such as throughput, delays, and routing overhead etc. within the current chosen application area. According to analysis done over the routing protocols: AODV, DSR and DSDV, we can observe that these protocols perform well for specific different number of nodes. Each of these protocols has a limitation of number of nodes to perform in different traffic regions. This paper proposed protocol selection mechanism, which will select the suitable protocol between these three protocols based upon the CBR traffic agents. The proposed work will be helpful for improving uninterrupted data transmission, achievable average end-to-end delay and throughput, robustness in packet delivery fraction (PDF) as well as dropped packet ratio (DPR), routing overhead and jitter. The protocol will be ready to face any change in number of nodes, traffic models and similar scenario.

The preliminary study related to the mobile app is considered using the previous version of the app. Using the feedback of previous version of the app, the changes are made in the old version of this mobile app and new version are made available to the students. This app contains the PPTs, Notes, Multiple Choice Questions as well as Subjective Questions, Revision Part for revising the various topics of the this course, Test Your Knowledge part for testing the knowledge about this course and Quiz covering all units. In present study, the research question "Whether an android mobile app engage the learners and help them to understand the topics of this course by practicing the quiz and testing the knowledge through Test Your Knowledge section of this app?". In current study, this app was given to the forty five PhD research scholars for studying purpose. One group post-test method was conducted to check the effectiveness of this app. It is found from result analysis that there is significant improvement in the result which is verified using statistical analysis t-test. Feedback for this new version is also considered and presented in this paper.

The traditional way of managing the heavy task and decision-making capabilities which mostly rely on the manpower system is now transforming with the advancement of computer and IoT technology in various domains. Day by day the new inventions are carried in the agriculture sector. A new way of farming with the implementation of technology is increasing crop production, monitoring, and irrigation techniques. This increase in crop production with limited farmland is playing a vital role in the needs of the growing population. To achieve this the decision support system can be integrated with the IoT which will give precise decisions of crop production based on the agriculture site. This article focuses on an IoT Based Smart Farming using Decision Support System project for crop prediction and management. The soil sensors based on soil samples provide the data regarding soil moisture, PH value, temperature, and humidity. These data are feed as input to the system via GSM/GPRS module and provide output as predicted crop after the analysis. All the data are stored on the server and can be managed by the user interface as a webpage. This research work will give farmers a new decision making for their farm based on real-time data which surely can reduce their efforts and economic crises. .

Now in the agricultural sector, without understanding or monitoring the essential soil parameters, crop cultivation will be challenging and so the farmers may undergo financial losses. In agriculture, Expert systems are applied in a broad range of operations. Farmers usually depend on an agricultural specialist for decision making regarding crops, fertilizers, and farmland. This system can be used by the user having little knowledge of computer usage. It is a knowledge build decision support system for generating a decision on the basis of pre-existing knowledge. The development of IoT based devices for farming is changing the way of agriculture production by not only improving it but also making it cost-effective moreover time-efficient. Now a day's expert system and their decisions play an important role in every field. This study aims to design a decision support system for testing on various soil parameters. The results obtained by the system will be time-efficient and readily available to the farmers along within the limits set by the domain experts. This system can be used as decision support for monitoring soil by sensors. Multiple soil sensors are used to measure temperature, moisture, light, humidity, and PH value. The information from these soil sensors dipped into the soil sample is sent to the decision support system for the analysis. Finally, we can see the information saved to the server on the mobile phone as well as the laptop. Based on the information, we know which crop is suitable according to the particular soil parameter. Thus, this advanced technology with a decision support system helps the farmers to know the exact parameters of the soil making the soil testing method easier.

A... more Cross layer based approaches are increasingly becoming popular in Manet (Mobile Adhoc Network). As Manet are constrained with issues as low battery, limited bandwidth, link breakage and dynamic topology, cross layer based designs are trying to remove such barriers and trying to make Manet more scalable. Cross layer designs are also facing attacking problem and ensuring the security of network to defend the attack is must. In this paper we discuss about technique to optimize the performance by minimizing delay and overhead of secure cross layer routing protocol. We have designed SCLPC (Secure cross layer based Power control) protocol. But when security is imposed using AASR (Authenticated and anonymous secure routing), the network metrics as end to end delay and control overhead is disturbed. To optimize the network performance here we proposed OSCLPC (Optimized secure cross layer based power control protocol). The proposed OSCLPC has been evaluated using SHORT (Self healing and optimizing route technique). The OSCLPC is simulated in ns2 and it is giving the better performance compared with SCLPC.

Now Cross layer designs approaches are the alternative to the layered architecture and support cross layer interaction between the layers. In this paper we discuss about the security of CLPC (cross layer design approach for power control) routing protocol. CLPC can improve the transmission power and also find the effective route between source and destination. In CLPC, RSS from physical layer (Received signal strength) is used to determine the reliable path between source and destination but it is vulnerable to the DOS attacks. To mitigate the attacks on CLPC, we propose a secure Cross layer power control routing protocol SCLPC. It keeps the nodes, routes and packets anonymous to defend the attacks. Designed protocol SCLPC was simulated in ns2 providing the better results for the network matrices as throughput, PDR (packet delivery ratio) and delay.

MANETs routing protocols are characterized into two types, for example, table-driven and on-request or demand. In this network node performed as a function of routers which discovers and maintain the path to other node. In Adhoc network nodes are easily move and synchronize with their neighbor's node. The link failures occur frequently in this network due to its mobility nature. The nodes can be added or leave the network at any time. This paper mainly based on the importance of efficiency related considerations. We have surveyed comparative performance analysis of different routing protocols. Under the different scenarios in term of Packet Delivery Ratio, Jitter, End to End Delay and Throughput. We have carefully studied the behavior of these routing protocols and compared their performance in different scenarios based. In point number 5– 6 we had compared and analyzed different protocols under various movement models and traffic models using Network Simulator.

As Manet are constrained with issues as low battery, limited bandwidth, link breakage and dynamic topology, cross layer based designs are trying to remove such barriers and trying to make Manet more scalable. Cross layer designs are also facing attacking problem and ensuring the security of network to defend the attack is must. In this paper we discuss about technique to optimize the performance by minimizing delay and overhead of secure cross layer routing protocol. We have designed SCLPC (Secure cross layer based Power control) protocol. But when security is imposed using AASR (Authenticated and anonymous secure routing), the network metrics as end to end delay and control overhead is disturbed. To optimize the network performance here we proposed OSCLPC (Optimized secure cross layer based power control protocol). The proposed OSCLPC has been evaluated using SHORT (Self healing and optimizing route technique). The OSCLPC is simulated in ns2 and it is giving the better performance compared with SCLPC.

Now Cross layer designs approaches are the alternative to the layered architecture and support cross layer interaction between the layers. In this paper we discuss about the security of CLPC (cross layer design approach for power control) routing protocol. CLPC can improve the transmission power and also find the effective route between source and destination. In CLPC, RSS from physical layer (Received signal strength) is used to determine the reliable path between source and destination but it is vulnerable to the DOS attacks. To mitigate the attacks on CLPC, we propose a secure Cross layer power control routing protocol SCLPC. It keeps the nodes, routes and packets anonymous to defend the attacks. Designed protocol SCLPC was simulated in ns2 providing the better results for the network matrices as throughput, PDR (packet delivery ratio) and delay.

MANETs routing protocols are characterized into two types, for example, table-driven and on-request or demand. In this network node performed as a function of routers which discovers and maintain the path to other node. In Adhoc network nodes are easily move and synchronize with their neighbor's node. The link failures occur frequently in this network due to its mobility nature. The nodes can be added or leave the network at any time. This paper mainly based on the importance of efficiency related considerations. We have surveyed comparative performance analysis of different routing protocols. Under the different scenarios in term of Packet Delivery Ratio, Jitter, End to End Delay and Throughput. We have carefully studied the behavior of these routing protocols and compared their performance in different scenarios based. In point number 5– 6 we had compared and analyzed different protocols under various movement models and traffic models using Network Simulator.
