As the use of the internet has become massive, social networking sites cannot be separated from t... more As the use of the internet has become massive, social networking sites cannot be separated from the lives of Indonesian people. Social networking sites have succeeded in facilitating online business activities. That fact drives social networking sites to transform their function and features to become a rival of electronic commerce. We call this transformation social commerce. Social commerce can help customers to do online shopping on social media without losing other features of social media. The advantages of social commerce encourage platform managers and entrepreneurs to optimize this platform. Purchase intention of customers is an important aspect to increase the number of purchases in the social commerce platform. This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics and purchase intentions of Indonesian social commerce customers. By knowing those things, platform managers and entrepreneurs will gain better insight and create strategies to get benefits from social commerce. This research was conducted by using a descriptive study. 250 data were collected using an online questionnaire. The results show that the majority of social commerce customers are women. The majority of customers are aged 22 until 30 years old. Most of them are students who spend less than 500,000 Rupiah in one month to buy something in social commerce. Those customers do online shopping by using social commerce about 2-3 times per month with fashion as the most preferred product to purchase. Most of them use Instagram as the most efficient social commerce platform.

Social media networking such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, have created higher p... more Social media networking such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, have created higher possibilities for a candidate to get their career goals. Several studies have prov en that social media networking is convenient and practical for employers and job seekers. Social media networking allows job seekers to share their background to employers, including qualifications, work experience, and skills in more interestingly. Furthermore, this kind of social media helps employers to find potential candidates. Therefore, social media has benefits for the human resource recruitment process. This has also led researchers to conduct research related to the influence of social media on recruiting human resources. Research in this field has developed both in terms of quantity and terms of topic development, so that a more structured study of literature related to this field will have great benefits. This study uses the method of bibliometric analysis, including the analysis of citation and analysis co-citation for 78 articles as the study of the literature. The result shows that research in this field has developed since 2000 and showed a positive trend, especially in the last four years. Further, some new keywords appear each year, which indicates that the research in this field is more interesting to study. The research's implications and recommendations are that online recruitment helps companies get candidates in line with their needs. Online recruitment provides benefits for companies and job seekers regarding the time and cost-effectiveness of recruitment, targeting specific groups, to reach worldwide coverage.

The use of mid-roll advertisements on YouTube keeps on increasing, along with the increasing numb... more The use of mid-roll advertisements on YouTube keeps on increasing, along with the increasing number of YouTube viewers. Especially with the COVID-19 pandemic which has caused people to spend more and more time on social media such as YouTube. Online Travel Agent industry has been one of the business industries that has been significantly affected by COVID-19. Therefore, some OTA businesses have started using social media such as YouTube mid-roll ads as their marketing strategy. This study aims to (1) analyze the factors of YouTube mid-roll advertising (irritability, informativeness, entertainment, congruity) and their effect on the advertising value of online travel agent advertising on YouTube mid-roll; and (2) to evaluate the effect of YouTube advertising on online travel agent customers' purchase intentions. This study is a conclusive quantitative study with 190 respondents aged over 17 years. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modelling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results show that entertainment, informativeness, and congruity have a significant positive effect on advertising value, while irritability does not have a significant negative effect on advertising value. On the other hand, advertising value affects consumer purchase intention positively and significantly.

Na... more Dari 40.000 jenis tanaman obat yang ada di Dunia, ada sekitar 75% tanaman berada di Indonesia. Namun, cukup sedikit tanaman obat yang sudah dimanfaatkan. Konsep Taman Teknologi Pertanian (TTP) adalah program Kementerian Pertanian yang dapt digunakan sebagai pendekatan untuk memaksimalkan potensi tanaman obat yang besar tersebut. Desa Oro-Oro Ombo Kota Batu merupakan salah satu lokasi yang cocok untuk adanya pengembangan TTP karena sektor pariwisata di daerah sekitar yang terus berkembang. Dengan dikembangkannya TTP di Desa Oro-Oro Ombo diharapkan potensi herbal kota Batu dapat dimaksimalkan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dibagi dalam beberapa tahapan yakni pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, pembuatan desain taman teknologi, dan pembuatan website interaktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yakni terciptanya desain taman teknologi herbal pada daerah Oro-Oro Ombo Kota Batu dan website interaktif sebagai marketplace tanaman herbal Kota Batu. Adapun Desain taman teknologi terbagi menjadi dua yaitu area utama untuk pengembangan produk herbal dan area pendukung untuk pengunjung dan pengelola. Website interaktif berfungsi sebagai marketplace yang dapat untuk memberikan informasi sekaligus memasarkan produk herbal Kota Batu. Dengan adanya desain taman teknologi dan marketplace herbal dalam bentuk website interaktif ini, potensi herbal kota Batu dapat dimaksimalkan dan juga dijangkau oleh masyarakat Jawa Timur maupun Indonesia.

It has been proved to be a useful methodology to overcome the limitation of the strategic learning process of decision-makers. This study aims to overview the theoretical and empirical development of system dynamics in strategic management field. Furthermore, it also provides further insights that might not fully evaluated in previous studies. This study uses bibliometric approach by using citation analysis and co-citation analysis to understand evolution trends, identifying patterns, and level of adoption of the research literature related to system dynamics in strategic management. For this purpose, literature published between 1984 and 2020 were retrieved from the Scopus bibliographical database. Education has an important role in creating excellent human resources for the advancement of nati... more Education has an important role in creating excellent human resources for the advancement of national development. However, in Indonesia, there are still gaps in equal access to education. This study aims to evaluate the performance efficiency of the education sector to provide recommendations of which considered inefficient by using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. This study measures the technical efficiency of primary and both secondary schools (junior and senior high School) in 38 regencies/cities in East Java Province for three academic years (2016-2019). The results showed that technical inefficiency still occurs in the implementation of education in East Java. In addition, peer groups and improvement targets were obtained for the inefficient regencies/cities. The indicators that most influence the efficiency value of the education sector in East Java are the Education Fund Allocation as the input variable and the School Continuing Rate as the output variable. The scale efficiency analysis shows that most of the education sector in East Java operates in decreasing returns to scale.
