Transmission spectra, current-voltage characteristic (CVC) and differential conductivity spectra of two-dimensional FeSe nanostructure have been calculated within the framework of the density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green's functions (DFT + NEGF). It has been shown that the electrophysical properties depend on the geometry of the sample, the substrate, and the lattice constant. On CVC of non-stressed sample in the range from-1.2 V to-1 and from 1.2 V to 1.4 V, a region of negative differential resistance (NDR) has been observed. NDR is at both signs of the applied voltage due to the symmetry of the nanostructure. d 2 I/dV 2 is used to determine the nature of the electron-phonon interaction and the features of quasiparticle tunnelling in stressed and non-stressed samples. The results obtained can be useful for calculating new elements of 2D nanoelectronics.

Sitagliptin showed fluorescence in double distilled water having excitation wavelength at 265 nm and emission wavelength at 580 nm. The calibration graph was prepared in the concentration range of 10-50µg/ml and was found to be linear. The correlation co efficient was found to be 0.998. The proposed method was validated and successfully applied for analysis of tablet dosage forms.

The endeavour of this experiment was to compare and assess the quality standard of the Jan Aushadhi medicine with a different brand of the metformin hydrochloride tablet available in India. For evaluation of the quality of tablet of different brands, Indian Pharmacopoeial parameters like weight variation, dissolution tests and drug assay were executed. The results of all these parameters of different brands were compared with the pharmacopoeial limits. Hence in support of this it is very important to study the prescribing pattern in pediatric patients in order to find out lacunae, if any, and suggest remedial measures to overcome the same. The present study was undertaken to assess the pattern of prescription and drug utilization in paediatrics by measuring WHO delineated drug use indicators. Total number of prescriptions analyzed for study were 162 and total no of drugs in 162 prescriptions were 528. The male patients were 62.96% where as the female patients were 37.04%. In the present study, on an average 3.26 drugs were prescribed per patient. Drugs were prescribed in different dosage forms. Liquid dosage forms were most commonly prescribed 319 (60.41%), followed by Tablets 192(36.36%). Different categories of drugs were prescribed with Antimicrobials 197(37.31%) were ...

Fenofibrate is reported to undergo photodegradation to form perbenzoic acid derivative and also reported to undergo hydrolysis in alkaline medium to form fenofibric acid. Fenofibric acid is also a starting material for synthesis of fenofibrate. Fenofibric acid is considered a significant related substance as per USP. Various regulatory authorities like ICH, USFDA, Canadian Drug and Health Agency are emphasizing on the purity requirements and the identification of impurities in active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) as well as in pharmaceutical formulations. To this aim, various marketed formulations were assessed with special attention to identification and quantification of fenofibric acid using compendial reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography method. The use of a 250 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm, C18 column with 70:30 %, v/v acetonitrile a...

In recent years, the technologies producing quality products have paved the way for good quality products. The instigation of recent tools and technologies has provided a chance for pharmaceutical producers to enhance the quality standards of pharmaceuticals. Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is one amongst the technologies which are used to give timely analysis of crucial quality parameters with the end goal of rising final product quality similarly as reducing manufacturing prices, thereby significantly benefiting the pharmaceutical trade. PAT involves principally on-line or in-line testing, which may be an invasive or non-invasive method that analyzes the sample whereas it's a part of the method stream. There is no sample preparation in the testing, thus saving time and avoiding the possible mistake in sample preparations. In this review, an attempt has been carried out to explo...
A simple and sensitive high-performance thin layer chromatographic method was developed and valid... more A simple and sensitive high-performance thin layer chromatographic method was developed and validated for Prasugrel hydrochloride. It was spotted on silica gel 60F 254 TLC plates, developed using toluene:methanol (9.9:0.1, v/v) as mobile phase and scanned at 258 nm using a Camag TLC Scanner IV. The R f value of Prasugrel hydrochloride were found to be 0.53±0.03. It was found to be linear in the concentration range of 300–1500 ng/band. The limit of detection and limit of quantitation for Prasugrel hydrochloride were found to be 300 and 900 ng/band. The proposed method was successfully applied for stability indicating HPTLC method for the determination of Prasugrel hydrochloride in pharmaceutical dosage form.
