This study aims to determine how the example-non example learning model based on Madura batik eth... more This study aims to determine how the example-non example learning model based on Madura batik ethnomathematics can improve learning outcomes of geometry and learning activities in primary level students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research procedures plan, act, observe, and reflect. This research was conducted to 21 students of class II Kramat I Bangkalan Elementary School. The instruments used in this study include learning achievement tests, student activity observation sheets, teacher activity observation sheets, and student response. The results in the first cycle 80.95% of students' geometric learning outcomes were obtained above 70, the average student activity reached 80.36% (good category). Whereas in the second cycle, learning outcomes have reached the criteria of success, namely students who score above 70 by 90.47% but for student activities have not yet reached the criteria of obtaining an average value of 82.44%.. Whereas in the second cycle, learning outcomes have 90.47% but for student activities have not yet reached the criteria of obtaining an average value of 82.44%. In cycle III the percentage of student learning outcomes that score above 70 by 100% and student learning activities reached 87.50% in the excellent category.

One of the goals of mathematics teaching in elementary school is forming students who are capable... more One of the goals of mathematics teaching in elementary school is forming students who are capable of logical thinking, analytical, systematic, and creatively. For realizing these goals, particularly in honing student's creative thinking in solving mathematical problems, teachers should be more innovative in doing mathematics. Teachers must begin encourge students to learn how can be thinking critically, one of them by familiarizing students to solve problem so the student's ability to think creatively can be honed. This research included in the categoryof qualitative research with research subject are the students of SDN Banyuajuh I, Kamal, Madura. Determining the subject of this research using a cognitive style test instrument called Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT). Cognitive styles of students in problem solving fraction were analyzed from the result of written test and interview. The result of the research were explainedd that the second subject in the field independent cognitive style can solve fraction properly and fulfilled all three aspects of creative thinking there are fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Male subject with field dependent cognitive style was able to solved the problem but it is not creative, and only able to meet two of the three categories of creative thinking there are fluency and flexibility. In the other hand, the female subject with field dependent cognitive style only able to solve one of the problem that is drawing fraction without fulfilled three aspects of creative thinking.

This study aims to determine how the steps of the problem posing learning model to improve the cr... more This study aims to determine how the steps of the problem posing learning model to improve the creative thinking skills of class XI IPS I at SMAN I Kamal, Bangkalan on Matrix concept. This research uses classroom action research with stages of plan, do, observe, and reflect. The subjects were students of class XI IPS I consist of 17 males and 13 females. The research instruments used included teacher observation sheets, student observations, interview guides, and creative thinking skills test questions. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the creative thinking skills of students using the problem posing model have increased. In the pre-cycle, the average students who were in the minimal creative category were 23.33%, (7 students). After the first cycle was implemented there was an increase in the number of students who were in the minimum creative category were 63.33% (19 students). These results have not yet reached the target of the success criteria set so that it is continued with the next cycle, namely cycle II. Increasing the results of tests of creative thinking skills of students who are in the minimal creative category reached 86.67% (26 students).

The research was conducted at SDN Kara I, Sampang to 9 Grade III students. Sampelnya terdiri dari 19 mahasiswa kelompok gaya belajar visual, 6 mahasiswa kelompok gaya belajar auditoral, dan 4 mahasiswa kelompok gaya belajar kinestatik. Penelitian ini berdasarkan tingkat eksplanasi merupakan penelitian asosiatif dan jenisnya adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Hubungan antara gaya belajar mahasiswa TIP dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa sangat lemah yaitu dengan korelasi sebesar 0,073. Hubungan tersebut bersifat positif, artinya terjadi hubungan searah antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Bila skor gaya belajarnya semakin kuat, maka hasil belajarnya semakin meningkat. Dari jumlah tersebut persentase terbesar adalah anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama. Implikasi dengan adanya persentase jumlah penduduk usia sekolah dasar dan menengah pertama yang besar juga memberikan tanggung jawab yang cukup besar bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat Bangkalan untuk memberikan pendidikan yang memadai baik secara formal maupun nonformal, tidak terkecuali untuk penduduk yang berdomisili di sekitar pesisir pantai Madura. Penguatan terhadap Pendidikan Karakter Anak juga menjadi pekerjaan rumah besar bagi masyarakat Bangkalan karena akhirakhir ini banyak terjadi kasus kriminalitas yang dilakukan oleh anak usia sekolah di Madura. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektr... more Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektrik, (2) mengetahui tingkat kemenarikan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektrik, (3) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektrik untuk kelas IV SD Negeri Pangeranan 3 Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa persentase kevalidan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektrik menurut ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 91,25% (sangat valid), ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 76% (valid), dan ahli materi sebesar 83% (valid). Kemenarikan media pembelajaran jam sudut elektrik diukur dari persentase hasil angket respon siswa pada uji coba pemakaian sebesar 88,4% (sangat menarik).
