Interactive computer network creates a self evaluatory and conducive environment for learning reducing the peer competition pressure on the student. This study shows communicative language teaching approach as a successful methodology in a setting of a multimedia lab in language learning/teaching other than the traditional classroom setting. In a traditional classroom, the teacher provides the topic-specific situation for students to make use of language as much as they can. Since the traditional classroom is far from any similarities to the real life situation, the teacher has to tell students to use their imagination and place themselves in that situation. Nevertheless, the multimedia lab offers the opportunity for students to visualize the situation. The computer software creates a virtual world that is very similar to the real world. It is a world that you can see. Language learning software acts as a platform for learning, practicing language skills through interactive lessons and communicative mode of teaching. Learners can act and respond in a variety of ways at their own pace. This paper addresses the comprehensive language-learning method which acts as a total solution for selfteaching, as well as a teaching support to formal courses. It presents learners access to resources for independent or supplemental learning and study. This unique learning-on-demand feature creates additional learning opportunities and reinforces classroom activity.
