It serves as the basis for many other crucial areas like Semantic Annotation, Question Answering, Ontology Population, Opinion Mining, Text summarization.Most of the NER research has been done in English and other European languages. Indian languages have their own constraints for identifying named entities which is a great challenge. This paper discusses about various approaches used for named entity recognition used for identifying entities of various Indian languages.

Emergency Medical System (EMS) is a revolutionary approach to emergency medical treatment in some medical emergency. It also describes a mobile system that enables electronic healthcare data storage, update and retrieval using Cloud Computing. It observed that people in unknown area are in severe danger if they don't able to find hospital quickly. In emergency case a single minute counts so it is very important that automatic applications must be used for decision making, maintain up to date status of the hospital. Saving the time which can be save life of the patient. When the doctor or family receives the alarm message, they can immediately take measures to rescue the user. It can also manage the health record of the user. The user can take online medical to send their physical condition and then get prescription from doctor who will send the prescription on the user's phone. The proposed system locates nearest available hospital, contacts its ambulance emergency system, accesses a Electronic Health Record of emergency patient that can critically assist in pre-hospital treatments. The system will identify availability of the nearest available specialized hospital all through EMS server which provides continuous information about the incoming patient to the hospital. This paper proposes Android Based Tracking for EMS (Emergency Medical System) on cloud.
Data mining is a technology using which we can extract useful information from data. There are tw... more Data mining is a technology using which we can extract useful information from data. There are two major issues in data mining first is privacy violation and and second is discrimination. Discrimination is the unfair treatment with respect to the features that should not be considered while decision making. With respect to human, it is when people are given unfair treatment on the basis of their sensitive features like gender, race, religion etc. Discrimination can be of two types direct discrimination and indirect discrimination. Direct discrimination consists of training rules based on sensitive attributes like religion, race, community etc. Indirect discrimination is a discrimination which occurs when the decisions are taken on non-sensitive attributes but these attributes are closely related to direct discriminatory attributes. Automated decision making systems uses data mining techniques to train the system for decision making. Data form the previous work is used for the rule generation to train the system. At first sight, we can say that automating decisions systems are fair in decision making, but if the training data sets are itself discriminatory then the the system cannot be free from discrimination. To remove such discrimination we have discrimination discovery and prevention techniques in data mining. This paper mainly focuses direct discrimination removal from the data.

Sending emails is one of the most common feature that each and every web application offers. Many... more Sending emails is one of the most common feature that each and every web application offers. Many websites use their emailing feature to send newsletters. Many websites use their emailing feature to collect feedback responses. Some websites use their emailing feature for authentication like OTP and password. So these PHP powered websites use the Mail () php method to send emails. However, in this case, security is often compromised as it is not the most secure way to send/receive emails on the website. The emails can be hacked and the emails can get stuck in the 'spam' section of the email service provider. These problems can be minimized if these PHP powered websites use a better framework like Laravel, Symphony, etc. Laravel, the framework with which this project is done, provides several advanced features to work with. It has different packages available in the market that makes the integration of emailing functionality effortlessly.

But there do not exist enough analysis tools to mine uncovered, unusual but useful patterns in data. Data mining has been used successfully in various fields to discover hidden patterns and trends, alerting about the hidden anomalies in the data or simply helping in the decision making process. This paper how classification techniques in data mining can be applied for heart disease prediction. To predict and alert about any future coronary ailment in the patients techniques like Naïve Bayes, and Decision tree are applied and efficiency of these algorithms is compared. The dataset taken is Cleveland dataset with 14 attributes.

Time series data mining plays a major role in organizations decision making. Time series data min... more Time series data mining plays a major role in organizations decision making. Time series data mining involves extraction of all meaningful knowledge and patterns from data collected over a period of time. Various data mining techniques like classification, clustering, segmentation, anomaly detection, prediction are applied to different type of time series data to find useful and interesting patterns from it. This paper focuses on one such important mining task performed on time series data-prediction. Various statistical methods used for time series prediction includes regression, exponential smoothing, moving averages, autoregressive and moving average models, etc. Many times complexity underlying these methods precludes its use by those less acquainted with them. So it is possible to use heuristic method which gives approximated, but satisfactory solution for such class of problems. This paper proposes heuristic approach for time series data mining task-prediction. The approach used is based on evolutionary computation technique-genetic algorithm. Prediction results are evaluated on the basis of R 2 and Root mean square error value (RMSE).

Online Social Networking (OSN) sites are always helpful for being socialized and to get exposed t... more Online Social Networking (OSN) sites are always helpful for being socialized and to get exposed to a social environment. But, privacy and prevention of undesired posts on user wall is the only problem of biggest concern. User should have the ability to control the message posted on their own private wall to avoid undesirable contents to be displayed. The existing OSN sites have very little support regarding this problem. For example, Facebook filters messages on the basis of identity of sender i.e. only friend, friend of friend or group of friends can post any message; no content based preferences are supported. Taking this fact into consideration, the proposed work contributes to address such problem through a machine learning based soft classifier for labeling messages in support of contents of message. This work experimentally evaluates an automated scheme to filter out unwanted messages posted on Facebook walls by assigning a set of categories with each short text message based on its contents.
