The fundamental purpose of this research is to understand that how exams make decisions about fa... more The fundamental purpose of this research is to understand that how exams make decisions about fate. Qualitative surveys are conducted in different institutes e.g. Government College University. By doing this research it is founded that exams play an important part in the life of people. Type of evaluation in every era is different but is important to people. Chinese examination system was the first version of examinations and by passing these examinations their status could be changed in society. But they could also fail just by a mere slip of pen. The research was conducted through questionnaires.
The related literature has shown that researchers have work on the topics related to ours but they are mostly bidirectional and we researched on effect of examinational problems on the life of students.
According to the research, almost half of the percentage give value to the exams. They think that exams are necessary. But about 99% of the students give hard work and fate the credit to the success of people. Almost 65% of the subjects think that exams should not decide our fate.
The analysis revealed that students give much importance to the exams but they don’t think that exams could decide our fate. It is shown through this study that success in life could be gained through hard work and exams had very little to do with it. Examinational problems can ruin their lives.
Based on the conclusion it is recommended that there should be other ways of judging students’ abilities. Cheating should be discouraged. All students should be treated equally above discrimination. There should be alternate ways of learning beside class room and book. There should be a proper way of check and balance for teachers and educational institutions. Most importantly often teachers focus on bright students which is totally wrong because slow learner need more attention of teacher than intelligent students.
