The general formulation has been applied to analyse the problem of sensing of de-lamination of a surface mounted smart beam with thermal load. Due to de-lamination, the delaminated-multipatched-laminated-smart beam becomes slack and deflection increases. The increase in deflection notifies presence of de-lamination in structure. The sensing of this de-lamination can be used in health monitoring of structures.

Electric current is used in the preparation of a bleaching agent to replace bleaching powder. The NaOCl generated from electrolytic cell (2.5-3.5V potential difference) is sufficient to produce powerful bleaching agent with available chlorine varying from 1.2 g/L to 1.3g/L. Time required for bleaching reduces to 10-20 min, as compared to 90 min in conventional bleaching. Whiteness index, brightness index and yellowness index have been measured by a spectrophotometer. There is a remarkable increase in whiteness index and brightness index and decrease in yellowness index in the electrochemically bleached samples as compared to that in conventionally bleached cotton. Dye uptake values show an increasing trend with electrochemical bleaching. The present study aims for achieving the desired efficiency to remove conventional drawbacks of sodium hypochlorite bleaching.

Research paper thumbnail of Eccrine Angiomatous Hamartoma: A Rare Presentation in Late Adulthood

International Journal of Medical Science And Diagnosis Research, 2021

The rarity with which it is encountered in adults and the elderly makes it a diagnostic challenge in such age brackets. We report an interesting case of eccrine angiomatous hamartoma presenting in late adulthood confirmed by histopathology. Keywords: Cisplatin, concurrent chemotherapy, daily, weekly, three weekly, carcinoma cervix

Various experiments were performed using a spray nozzle impinging fluid normal to the flat end of a copper heated surface (copper cylinder 20 mm diameter). The heat flux and surface temperature have been calculated by measuring temperature gradients along the target length under steady state conditions. In this experimental study, water flow rate was varied from 15 to 25 ml/min. In the same test conditions to compare water results with nanofluids, ZnO nanofluid was sprayed at a flow rate of 20 ml/min. It can be observed that a surface temperature 74.1°C was obtained with maximum heat flux of 102.40 W/cm 2 under the test condition for heater power 140 W and a water flow rate 25 ml/min. The use of ZnO nanofluid as a coolant is observed to increase the heat flux by about 20.2 % and decrease surface temperature of the test specimen by about 15 % at 180 W heat input and flow rate of 20 ml/min. The uncertainty in heat flux is observed to vary from 8.63 to 10.93 %.

Taiwan Red Lady 786 under subtropical conditions of Punjab. In this experiment, farmyard manure, vermicompost and mulching along with different concentrations of GA3, NAA and Ethrel were tested in randomized block design. Maximum plant height (145.33cm), stem diameter (37.66cm), number of leaves/plant (32.33), number of flowers (135.66/plant), number of fruits (40.66/plant), fruit set percentage (78.18%), fruit length (17.13cm), fruit breadth (12.23cm), specific gravity (0.92) and ascorbic acid percentage (83.77%) was recorded in GA3 200ppm with FYM, vermicompost and black mulching, whereas maximum TSS (16.710B) and minimum acidity percentage (0.129%) was recorded with application of Ethrel 200ppm with FYM, vermicompost and black mulching. The results of this experiment revealed that integration of PGR’s application with farmyard ma...
