Whereas, the unseen is no way to delve into it except with the light of revelation and Allah has provided guidance for humanity whenever it strayed and distracted with its ideas. The sequence of human deviation begins with exaggeration, passes through extremism and ends with atheism, Contemporary atheism is associated with material civilization and its main origin is the western thought. Extremism and atheism have destructive consequences for the individual and society, and European societies are the best witness in this field.

This manuscript examined attendance rates of appointments made on the internet for rural and urban dermatology clinics. The study analyzed appointment records made over a 6-month period on ZocDoc.com for 3 dermatology clinics located outside Houston, Texas. Non-attendance rates for online appointments were much lower (6.9%) than non-attendance rates at dermatology clinics through traditional means. The average age of patients who missed their appointments was lower than the average age of those who made their appointments. In addition, the average age of those who cancelled their appointments was higher than those who made their appointments. Also, urban non-attendance rates were higher than rural rates. This study has a small sample size because online appointment scheduling is not a common practice. The early returns of online appointment scheduling indicate that appointments made online are more likely to have lower non-attendance rates than appointments made through traditional means.

Owing to the large role that hair loss plays in self-image and self-confidence, an increasing number of these men and women seek options for hair restoration. Major considerations and sources of hesitation for strip surgical restoration are the visible linear scar, prolonged downtime, and other expected side effects of invasive procedures. These problems can be circumvented by smaller harvest approaches. However, the traditional punch harvest, which produces no linear scar, does leave patients with an often-unsatisfactory "doll hair" appearance. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that utilizes a punch device to harvest occipital follicular units that are later transplanted in areas of loss to restore hair growth. FUE captures the benefit of multiple available restoration techniques and avoids the disadvantages of traditional strip surgery. A number of variations on the procedure are currently in practice and many more exciting advances are underway.

Although uncommon, follicular lesions such as eosinophilic folliculitis have been reported in association with leukemia. However, follicular and papular mucinosis are novel associations for chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.

However, post-depositional alteration of coral aragonite, particularly early diagenesis, restrict the accuracy of calibrated proxies even on young corals. Considering the diagenetic effects, we present new Mid to Late Holocene SST reconstructions on well-dated (U/Th: ∼70 yr to 5.4 ka) fossil Porites sp. collected from the Society Islands, French Polynesia. For few corals, quality pre-screening routines revealed the presence of secondary aragonite needles inside primary pore space, resulting in a mean increase in Sr/Ca ratios between 5-30%, in contrast to the massive skeletal parts. Characterized by a Sr/Ca above 10 mmol/mol, we interpret this value as the threshold between diagenetically altered and unaltered coral material. At a high-resolution, observed intra-skeletal variability of 5.4 to 9.9 mmol/mol probably reflects the physiological control of corals over their trace metal uptake, and individual variations controlled by CaCO 3 − precipitation rates. Overall, the Sr/Ca, U/Ca and δ 18 O trends are well correlated, but we observed a significant offset up to ± 7 • C among the proxies on derived palaeo-SST estimates. It appears that the related alteration process tends to amplify temperature extremes, resulting in increased SST-U/Ca and SST-Sr/Ca gradients, and consequently their apparent temperature sensitivities. A relative SST reconstruction is still feasible by normalizing our records to their individual mean value defined as SST. This approach shows that SST records derived from different proxies agree with an amplitudinal variability of up to ± 2 • C with respect to their Holocene mean value. Higher SST values than the mean SSTs (Holocene warm periods) were recorded from ∼1.8 to ∼2.8 ka (Interval I), ∼3.7 to 4.0 ka (Interval III) and before ∼5 ka, while lower SST values (Holocene cold periods, Interval II and IV) were recorded in between. The ensuing SST periodicity of ∼1.5 ka in the Society Islands record is in line with the solar activity reconstructed from 10 Be and 14 C production (Vonmoos et al., 2006), emphasizing the role of solar activity on climate variability during the Late Holocene.

To investigate the application of carbon nanoparticles in lymph node dissection and parathyroid gland protection during thyroid cancer surgery. Subjects and Methods. Retrospective analysis was performed on 282 cases of thyroid cancer surgery in our hospital from 2018 to 2019. All patients underwent total thyroidectomy and cervical central lymph node dissection. Nanocarbon was not used in the control group, but was used in the experimental group. The general situation of the patients, the number of postoperative lymph nodes and the number of metastasis were collected, and the differences between serum parathyroid hormone and blood calcium were compared before and on the 3rd and 30th day after surgery. Results. There was no difference in age, sex and TNM stage between the two groups (P > 0.05). The number of metastatic lymph nodes in the experimental group (9.80 ± 4.80) was different from that in the control group (6.95 ± 3.86) (P 0. 05). Conclusion. The application of ...

Further, the papershows some literary devices employed such as repetition, assonance, alliteration and many others. The paper concludes in recognition of the difficulty of determining the exact stanzas of the Damba repertoire as the performer's unconsciousness of the formal grouping. Evidently, the paper concludes that the Damba repertoire goes beyond mere performance.

Although the major postglacial melting phase is likely to have ended 6-4 ka BP (before present), GIA is still significantly affecting the present-day vertical position of the mean sea surface and the sea bottom. Here we present empirical rsl (relative sea level) data based on U/Th dated fossil corals from reef platforms of the Society Islands, French Polynesia, together with the corresponding GIA-modeling. Fossil coral data constrain the timing and amplitude of rsl variations after the Holocene sea level maximum (HSLM). Upon correction for isostatic island subsidence, we find that local rsl was at least 1.5 6 0.4 m higher than present at 5.4 ka. Later, minor amplitude variations occurred until 2 ka, when the rsl started dropping to its present position with a rate of 0.4 mm/yr. The data match with predicted rsl curves based on global ice-sheet chronologies confirming the role of GIA-induced ocean siphoning effect throughout the mid to late Holocene. A long lasting Late Holocene highstand superimposed with second-order amplitudinal fluctuations as seen from our data suggest that the theoretical predicted timing of rsl change can still be refined pending future calibration.
