Abstrak Menurunnya kualitas sikap dan moral generasi muda telah mendorong lahirnya Kurikulum 2013... more Abstrak Menurunnya kualitas sikap dan moral generasi muda telah mendorong lahirnya Kurikulum 2013 yang mengedepankan pembangunan karakter bangsa. Kajian ini mengupas apa dan bagaimana pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil studi dokumentasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia selain dituntut untuk menarik, tidak membosankan, juga mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai sikap positif pada peserta didik. Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia haruslah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara saksama. Oleh karena itu guru harus mampu merancang suatu pembelajaran yang menarik, penuh inovasi sehingga menumbuhkan daya kreativitas siswa, sekaligus mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Peran dan fungsi guru juga sangat diperlukan dalam merencanakaan, melaksanakan, serta mengevaluasi semua proses pembelajaran. Guru diharapkan tidak hanya mampu menyampaikan materi dan tugas-tugas administratif keguruan, tapi juga harus mampu menjadi teladan dalam penerapan sikap dan nilai-nilai positif yang diharapkan. Kata kunci: pendidikan, karakter, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia Abstract The declining quality of attitudes and morals of the younger generation has led to the birth of the 2013 curriculum which prioritized the development of national character. This study examines what and how character education in learning Indonesian. The results of the documentation study show that learning Indonesian in addition to being required to be interesting, not boring, is also able to instill the values of positive attitudes in students. Indonesian Language Learning must go through several stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation of learning, and the evaluation of learning that is carried out carefully. The teacher must be able to design an interesting learning, full of innovation so as to foster the creativity of students, while being able to instill character education values. The role and function of the teacher is also very necessary in planning, implementing, and evaluating all the learning processes. Teachers are expected not only to be able to deliver material and teacher administrative tasks, but also to be able to be role models in the expected implementation of positive attitudes and values. Penelitian ini berupaya melihat interferensi yang muncul dalam cerpen-cerpen yang ditulis oleh si... more Penelitian ini berupaya melihat interferensi yang muncul dalam cerpen-cerpen yang ditulis oleh siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, Lampung Selatan. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah interferensi apa sajakah yang muncul dan faktorfaktor apakah yang menyebabkan terjadinya interferensi dalam cerpen-cerpen siswa tersebut. Pemakaian bahasa Indonesia dalam cerpen siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram ternyata diwarnai oleh interferensi dari bahasa asing (Inggris), bahasa gaul, dan bahasa daerah. Interferensi tersebut terjadi pada tataran morfologi, tataran leksikal, dan tataran sintaksis. Dari 40 cerpen yang diteliti ternyata ada 35 cerpen yang mengandung unsur interferensi. Hanya ada lima cerpen yang tidak diwarnai unsur interferensi. Apabila dipersentasekan secara keseluruhan ternyata cerpen siswa yang mengandung interferensi ada 87,5% dan yang tidak mengandung interferensi ada 12,5%. Interferensi yang terjadi disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu kedwibahasaan siswa, kebosanan, prestise, menghindari kekakuan, kosakata tersebut lebih singkat atau lebih pendek daripada padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia, serta kosakata tersebut belum ada padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia.

of this research is to describe the knowledge of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region about... more of this research is to describe the knowledge of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region about legislation relating to languages and the use of Indonesian and foreign languages, to explain the attitudes of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region towards languages and the use of Indonesian and foreign languages, and to explain the influence of the knowledge of the legislation toward the attitudes of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region. The result shows that the knowledge of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region about legislation relating to languages and the use of Indonesian, local and foreign languages can be considered low because almost all of the respondents have a limited knowledge of the legislation being asked in the questions;the language attitudes of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region can be considered good because the average value has reached 84.36%;the influenceof the knowledge of the legislation relating to languages toward the attitudes of culinary entrepreneurs in Pringsewu region is not considered significant which is only 1%.

The declining spirit of using Indonesian well and properly is currently an important topic to be studied. This study aimed to describe the attitude of using Indonesian language and the factors that causes of students' language attitudes SMA Negeri 1 Metro. The technique of collecting data is by using questionnaire. The data were processed and analyzed by using a qualitative approach. The results showed that students' attitudes in Indonesian language is still quite good. This is evidenced by the answers of all respondents who feel proud to be able to speak Indonesian and 95% of respondents would continue to study the Indonesian although they have already mastered several foreign languages. The dominan factor that causing the attitude of students' language is experience as proved by the responses to questionnaires which mostly have a percentage above 80%.

Proverbs are one of evidence of human existence framed in culture. It contains many admonitions, ... more Proverbs are one of evidence of human existence framed in culture. It contains many admonitions, exhortations, criticisms, and even implicit prohibitions. This requires cognitive ability to understand and receive messages well. This qualitative descriptive article aims to investigate the meanings of proverbs in Lampung, Indonesia, for learning local wisdom. Using an observation method, this study employed 36 proverbs that can be used as a medium for children to learn language and cultural values. The analysis was carried out by classifying the source domain and target domain with cognitive semantic designs. The findings show that the proverbs contain advice and noble values of the Indonesian culture. The values refer to Piil Pesengiri as a local philosophy of Lampung.

This study attempts to observe the interferences that occur in short stories published in Lampung... more This study attempts to observe the interferences that occur in short stories published in Lampung Post 2010. Various factors that cause interferences in the short stories would be the problems discussed in this study. The use of Indonesian in the short stories fulfilled with the interferences of English and the local languages (Java, Lampung, and Palembang). Interferences occur at the level of morphological, lexical and syntactic. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the interferences are caused by several factors, including bilingualism of authors of the short stories, avoidance of using same words over and over, prestige, lack of fidelity to the language. In addition to, the elements of English and the local languages used are shorter than the elements of Indonesian language and there is no equivalent words in Indonesian. This study aims to determine the perceptions and attitudes of the people of South Lampung languag... more This study aims to determine the perceptions and attitudes of the people of South Lampung language against the use of Indonesian in Daily Lampung Post. The methodology used in this research is quantitative descriptive approach. Analyzed data obtained through direct interviews with respondents. Respondents in this study were 30 of age and a different educational background. Most respondents found Lampung Post is quite appropriate in the use of foreign language vocabulary. Most respondents also argued that the use of foreign languages in Lampung Post will not threaten the position of Indonesian and local languages. From all the answers to the interview questions were given to respondents it can be concluded that the majority of respondents have a positive attitude towards Indonesian. The study of the role of mass media as one of the supporters of efforts to foster Indonesian lang... more The study of the role of mass media as one of the supporters of efforts to foster Indonesian language and literature needs to be done so that its role can be known and its success rate can be evaluated. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is indirect interviews with staff of twenty Kantor and Balai Bahasa in Indonesia. Of the twenty Kantor and Balai Bahasa that were recorded, it was found that only two Kantor Bahasa had not cooperated with any mass media. There are three Kantor and Balai Bahasa that have collaborated with print and electronic media, namely the Balai Bahasa Kalimantan Barat, Balai Bahasa Riau, and Kantor Bahasa Lampung. Of the twenty Balai and Kantor Bahasa, there are 14 Balai and Kantor Bahasa that have collaborated with radio, both RRI and other private radios. Kajian ini menjabarkan kondisi pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung dalam upaya pelestarian bahasa La... more Kajian ini menjabarkan kondisi pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung dalam upaya pelestarian bahasa Lampung serta upaya apa yang telah dilakukan pemerintah daerah dalam rangka pembinaan dan pengembangannya. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui kondisi pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan serta upaya apa saja yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam rangka pelestarian bahasa daerah. Berdasarkan hasil kajian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa mulok bahasa Lampung telah cukup meningkatkan sikap positif siswa terhadap bahasa daerah juga menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta didik. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan mengalami beberapa kendala yang perlu perbaikan di beberapa bagian. Pengajaran bahasa Lampung sebagai mulok yang bertujuan agar peserta didik memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan lafal dan ejaan bahasa Lampung perlu ditingkatkan melalui perbaikan kurikulum dan peningkatan kualitas serta kesejahteraan guru. The methodology used in this research is quantitative descriptive approach. Analyzed data obtained through direct interviews with respondents. Respondents in this study were 30 of age and a different educational background. Most respondents found Lampung Post is quite appropriate in the use of foreign language vocabulary. Most respondents also argued that the use of foreign languages in Lampung Post will not threaten the position of Indonesian and local languages. The declining spirit of using Indonesian well and properly is currently an important topic to be studied. This study aimed to describe the attitude of using Indonesian language and the factors that causes of students' language attitudes SMA Negeri 1 Metro. The technique of collecting data is by using questionnaire. The data were processed and analyzed by using a qualitative approach. The results showed that students' attitudes in Indonesian language is still quite good. This is evidenced by the answers of all respondents who feel proud to be able to speak Indonesian and 95% of respondents would continue to study the Indonesian although they have already mastered several foreign languages. The dominan factor that causing the attitude of students' language is experience as proved by the responses to questionnaires which mostly have a percentage above 80%.

The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is indirect interviews with staff of twenty Kantor and Balai Bahasa in Indonesia. Of the twenty Kantor and Balai Bahasa that were recorded, it was found that only two Kantor Bahasa had not cooperated with any mass media. There are three Kantor and Balai Bahasa that have collaborated with print and electronic media, namely the Balai Bahasa Kalimantan Barat, Balai Bahasa Riau, and Kantor Bahasa Lampung. Of the twenty Balai and Kantor Bahasa, there are 14 Balai and Kantor Bahasa that have collaborated with radio, both RRI and other private radios. Penelitian ini berupaya melihat interferensi yang muncul dalam cerpen-cerpen yang ditulis oleh si... more Penelitian ini berupaya melihat interferensi yang muncul dalam cerpen-cerpen yang ditulis oleh siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram, Lampung Selatan. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah interferensi apa sajakah yang muncul dan faktor-faktor apakah yang menyebabkan terjadinya interferensi dalam cerpen-cerpen siswa tersebut. Pemakaian bahasa Indonesia dalam cerpen siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 2 Merbau Mataram ternyata diwarnai oleh interferensi dari bahasa asing (Inggris), bahasa gaul, dan bahasa daerah. Interferensi tersebut terjadi pada tataran morfologi, tataran leksikal, dan tataran sintaksis. Dari 40 cerpen yang diteliti ternyata ada 35 cerpen yang mengandung unsur interferensi. Hanya ada lima cerpen yang tidak diwarnai unsur interferensi. Apabila dipersentasekan secara keseluruhan ternyata cerpen siswa yang mengandung interferensi ada 87,5% dan yang tidak mengandung interferensi ada 12,5%. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui kondisi pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan serta upaya apa saja yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam rangka pelestarian bahasa daerah. Berdasarkan hasil kajian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa mulok bahasa Lampung telah cukup meningkatkan sikap positif siswa terhadap bahasa daerah juga menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta didik. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan mulok bahasa Lampung di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan mengalami beberapa kendala yang perlu perbaikan di beberapa bagian. Pengajaran bahasa Lampung sebagai mulok yang bertujuan agar peserta didik memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan lafal dan ejaan bahasa Lampung perlu ditingkatkan melalui perbaikan kurikulum dan peningkatan kualitas serta kesejahteraan guru. Proverbs are one of evidence of human existence framed in culture. It contains many admonitions, ... more Proverbs are one of evidence of human existence framed in culture. It contains many admonitions, exhortations, criticisms, and even implicit prohibitions. This requires cognitive ability to understand and receive messages well. This qualitative descriptive article aims to investigate the meanings of proverbs in Lampung, Indonesia, for learning local wisdom. Using an observation method, this study employed 36 proverbs that can be used as a medium for children to learn language and cultural values. The analysis was carried out by classifying the source domain and target domain with cognitive semantic designs. The findings show that the proverbs contain advice and noble values of the Indonesian culture. The values refer to Piil Pesengiri as a local philosophy of Lampung.
