Izlovljeno je 287 jedinki, deset vrsta riba, svrstanih u pet familija: Salmonidae, Cyprinidae, Esocidae, Thymallidae i Cottidae, Ključne riječi: populacija, riba, rijeka Akademija nauka i umjetnosti Bosne i Hercegovine Академија наука и умјетности Босне и Херцеговине Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina Drugi međunarodni kolokvijum "BIODIVERZITET

The study was conducted in four groups of laying hens: one control and three experimental, which were formed with respect to different proportions of buckwheat in meals. Within the first group of laying hens, a concentrated feed mixture with 10% relative share of buckwheat was used, within the second group with 20% relative share of buckwheat and within the third group with 30% relative share of buckwheat, while in the control group standard concentrated food was used. Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that buckwheat in the meal of laying hens has positive effects on quality, physical properties, sensory properties and frequency of carrying. It was shown that there are statistically significant differences in mean values for the following variables: protein content in egg white, protein content in egg yolk (%), fat content in egg yolk (%), where the highest value was recorded in the third group of laying hens. Also, statistically significant differences were found in terms of shell weight (g), shell thickness (mm), yolk diameter (mm) and egg white pH. The highest average frequency of egg laying was found in the first group and the lowest average frequency of egg laying was in the control group. The general conclusion is that buckwheat can be used in poultry feed, because it has a much greater positive than negative effect on the production and quality characteristics of eggs for consumption.

Domestic kind Pramenka (Kupres strain, Vlašić strain) were used in this research. There were 36 sheeps in the experimental group, and the same number in the control group. Experimets were performed on long-term purebred herds of Pramenka on three private farms in the Una-Sana Canton, 2 municipalities of Cazin, 1 municipality of Bihać, as well as on one private farm in Central Bosnia (area of the municipality of Travnik), and one in the municipality of Kupres (Livno Canton). Based on the presented average values of the external properties of Pramenka sheep and their variations for all examined localities, we can conclude the following: that the sheep are longer in relation to their height and that the Pramenka is of medium physical development, that the differences in body measures in the examined areas are greatly influenced by the origin of certain breeds of Pramenka sheep (Kupres strain, Vlašić strain), as well as the quality of pastures and unequal access to food. By comparing our results with the results of other authors who examined the exterior of other strains of Pramenka (from region in Croatia: Rab, Lika, Pag, Istria) in our wider enviroment concluded that Vlašić Pramenka is the largest strain of Pramenka in this area.

The multiplicative scatter correction, standard normal variate and first derivative were employed as spectra pretreatment, and the number of latent variable were optimized by leave-one-out cross-validation. The performance of PLS-ATR-MIR and PLS-DR-NIR models was evaluated according to root mean square error of cross validation and prediction (RMSECV and RMSEP), the coefficient of determination for prediction (R 2 pred) and residual predictive deviation (RPD) being obtained for this latter values of 5.83 and 8.26 for MIR and NIR, respectively.

A total of 120 lactating Simmental cows were divided into four groups of 30 cows each: group PGF2a 40 was treated on the 40 th day post partum with a single injection of 2 mL prostaglandin analogue (Estrumate), group PGF2a 50 was treated in the same way on the 50 th day, group GnRH was treated on the 40 th day post partum with a single injection of 2 mL GnRH analogue (Receptal), and the fourth group (control) was not hormonally treated. Fertility of cows was not significantly different (p>0.05). The difference in the estrous response and service-period between the control group and experimental groups was statistically significant (p<0.01).

A total of 96 60-day old Pramenka breed lambs (23.85±3.98 kg live body weight; 60±10 days of age; 42 males and 54 females) raised on pasture with their dams were randomly divided in three experimental groups: control (CON) or extensive rearing group, which did not receive any supplementary feed; concentrate (CC) group, receiving 300 g of a conventional commercial concentrate feed per animal daily, and concentrate-flax seed (CC-FS) group, receiving 300 g/day of the concentrate supplemented with 5% of flax seed. After 60 days of experimental period, 10 lambs were selected (5 males and 5 females) from each group and slaughtered. Omental fat samples were taken and analyzed to determine their fatty acid profile. Significant (P>0.05) differences in the fatty acid profile between...

The 2x2 schedule factorial of the procedure consisted of two levels of raw proteins (14 and 18%) and two levels of metabolic energy (9,66 and 13,86 MJ/kg of a meal). The best average results were found in the 3rd group fed with 18% of raw proteins and 9,66 MJ/kg of metabolic energy in the meal: egg-laying capacity (57,7%), egg weight (91,1g), fodder consumption on a kilo of egg-mass (4,9kg), egg-hatching capacity (80,5%) and one-day-old turkey weight (60,4g). Keywords: protein, energy, egg weight, hatching
