Macroalgae are photosynthetic organisms that act mainly to control CO2in one of the main functions of algae was as a quality bioindicator to evaluate a beach or coastal area that has some activity anthropogenicsuch as tourism, sewage or organic waste. In this way, the purpose of this article was to evaluate the distribution of the fictional individuals locatedin Carneiros Beach (PE-Brazil) during the period of December 2017, observing the possible biological relationships that can be presented at the siteamong the organizations present there. Using in situ collections and laboratory identifications, 32species were detected, separated in Chlorophyta, Phaeophytaand Rhodophyta, and from them it was possible to report that Carneiros Beach is rich in species biodiversity and has a very considerable water quality. CarneirosBeachoffers a wide variety of organisms in which they can be considered bioindicators of environmental qualities, also showing theinteraction of macroalgae with other marine organisms.

The degradation of mangroves and exploitation of this species are factors that can threaten it. The study examined the bioecological aspects of C. guanhumi against its production chain. The techniques and actors of the different stages of this chain were observed. The most commonly used capture method is the mousetrap. In fattening, the animals are arranged in different types of nurseries with varied foods. They are carried in raffia bags, a practice that causes the mortality of some individuals. In commercialization, the animals are exposed on ropes on tripods. At this stage the occurrence of physical damage or death to the animals was not identified. In places of consumption, the second fattening of guaiamuns usually occurs and their slaughter. At all stages of the production chain, it is well known that actors know about guaiamum bioecology. Failure to comply with legal requirements was identified in some steps, such as collecting females. The transport of guaiamuns was the stage identified as the most harmful to animals, as this is when the highest number of physical injuries and deaths occurs. Thus, it is necessary to legally adopt the practice, especially the form of transport, as well as the implementation of policies to support waste pickers, regulating their activity.

So, advances in Malacology help to discover of existing species and reinforces the scientific value of biological collections in education, research and extension. The objective was to carry out the inventory and registration of molluscs distribution that are inserted in the malacological collection of Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (UNICAP), which has material preserved in a humid way (Alcohol 70%). Using the specialized literature, species belonging to groups as Gastropoda and Bivalvia were identified and described, highlighting the distribution in Brazil, the characteristics of the shells and the substrata that they inhabit. Relevant information of each species was recorded in electronic spreadsheets. The identification of local species allows the UNICAP collection to be used by other institutions in research, teaching and extension projects.
