Human hands play an important role in different applications such as medical image processing, sign language translator, gesture recognition and augmented reality. A human hand has different length and breadth for male and female. So, it is a complex articulated object consisting many connected parts and joints. Traditional methods for hand detection and tracking used color and shape information from RGB camera. Using a depth camera for hand detection and tracking is a challenging and interesting domain in computer vision. Some research has shown that using depth data for hand detection can improve human computer interaction. Results of 45 cluster sample surveys to evaluate the immunization coverage in Iran during 1986 is... more Results of 45 cluster sample surveys to evaluate the immunization coverage in Iran during 1986 is reported. Overall, 55% of children between the ages of 12-23 months have complete immunization. Apart from mothers' knowledge and motivations, residence in the rural areas and utilization of antenatal care show positive association with immunization coverage. On the other hand, maternal tetanus immunization, hospital delivery and education of birth attendants for deliveries outside hospital, and the sex of the child do not seem to be associated with the child's immunization status. These and other results are discussed.

One of the most important problems in modern finance is finding efficient ways to summarize and v... more One of the most important problems in modern finance is finding efficient ways to summarize and visualize the stock market data to give individuals or institutions useful information about the market behavior for investment decisions. The enormous amount of valuable data generated by the stock market has attracted researchers to explore this problem domain using different methodologies. Potential significant benefits of solving these problems motivated extensive research for years. In this paper, computational data mining methodology was used to predict seven major stock market indexes. Two learning algorithms including Linear Regression and Neural Network Standard feed-forward back prop (FFB) were tested and compared. The models were trained from four years of historical data from March 2007 to February 2011 in order to predict the major stock prices indexes in the Iran (Tehran Stock Exchange). The performance of these prediction models was evaluated using two widely used statistical metrics. We can show that using Neural Network Standard feed-forward back prop (FFB) algorithm resulted in better prediction accuracy. In addition, traditional knowledge shows that a longer training period with more training data could help to build a more accurate prediction model. However, as the stock market in Iran has been highly fluctuating in the past two years, this paper shows that data collected from a closer and shorter period could help to reduce the prediction error for such highly speculated fast changing environment.

Considering there are too many publications about the digital image watermarking, we summarize main approaches and point out interesting parts of the researches. Multimedia watermarking technology offers advanced right away throughout the last several years. An electronic watermark is actually facts that are certainly imperceptibly and robustly inserted in the number data in ways that the idea is not taken off. Some sort of watermark commonly consists of information about the foundation, status, or perhaps receiver on the number data. In this review paper, certain requirements and apps intended for watermarking are usually reviewed. Purposes consist of copyright defense, data monitoring, and data pursuing. The fundamental concepts involving watermarking techniques are usually given and highlighted along with offered watermarking options for pictures, movie, audio tracks, text message files, along with advertising. Robustness and safety measures elements are usually mentioned in greater detail. Finally, several remarks are created around the cutting edge and possible potential trends inside watermarking technology.
