Academic performance is the measurement of student achievement across various academic subjects. Teachers and education officials typically measure achievement using classroom performance, graduation rates, and results from standardized tests. This research assessed the relationship of teaching techniques in new setup on academic performance. Correlational research investigates relationships between variables without the researcher controlling or manipulating any of them. It was used under the quantitative approach. There were 191 respondents wherein 12 respondents for each class per year level were utilized by the researchers. The research was carried out in Maguikay National High School at G.K. Sudlon Mandaue City,Cebu, Philippines,6014. A 2page standardized questionnaires from CLIQ Cooperative Learning Implementation Questionnaire. (n.d.), Differentiated Instruction (n.d), Learning Style Questionnaire and Technology were used in this study. The Pearson r-correlation was used to determine the relationship between the two variables. Every questionnaire fundamentally plays a role in the study to effectively know the correlation of each variable. In addition, there is a significant relationship between teaching techniques in new setup on students' academic performance. Furthermore, cooperative learning is one of the teaching techniques that greatly improves the students' academic performance more than differentiated instruction and visualization. When the teachers increase their knowledge on various teaching techniques in order to keep students engaged and motivated throughout the learning process.

By analyzing 35 samples of grade 12 students from Maguikay High School and their academic performance which is the 1st quarter average grade school year 2022-2023 gathered from their class adviser, in conjunction with information on family income obtained through the survey, the study aims to ascertain whether there exists a significant correlation between family income and academic achievement. Results show that the family income classification of the respondents is a low-income class (but not poor), the academic performance is very satisfactory and there is no significant relationship between the two variables. The findings indicate that students do not see the status of their family income as an obstacle to getting exceptional academic achievement. The fact that a student is economically disadvantaged does not automatically mean they will perform poorly academically. The research findings have the potential to inform educational policymakers and practitioners on the role of family income in maintaining students' academic outcomes, thus enriching targeted interventions aimed at promoting inclusivity and equity within the educational system. However, this correlational study precludes the establishment of causation, suggesting the need for future research with longitudinal approaches and consideration of other pertinent factors to fully comprehend the complexities of this relationship.

Critical thinking is the process of actively and successfully conceiving, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating knowledge as a basis for belief and action. This study assessed the relationship of using reading mobile applications in developing the students' critical thinking skills. A correlational design was used in this study to assess whether two different variables have a relationship. There were 125 grade 10 respondents utilized by the researchers. The research was carried out at Maguikay High School in G.K. Sudlon, Maguikay, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines, 6014. Two-page standardized questionnaires were used in this study, which was calculated using the Pearson's correlation coefficient. Every questionnaire fundamentally plays a role in the study to effectively know the correlation of each variable. The finding showed that there is a significant relationship between reading mobile applications and critical thinking skills. Therefore, reading mobile applications can help students gain knowledge, improve their reading skills, and develop their critical thinking skills.
