The film is differs from the tendency of the contemporary film practice. To understand the motion picture does not take into account the text and the dialogues in the film, which are marked as banal, but we use religion as their primary discipline, which the author himself declared the foundation for the development of the film, and the specific music which along with the aesthetic experience is essential and it has a symbolic role.

The functional consequences of these two mutations were determined by co-expression of the human brain NaV1.2 ␣ subunit with wild type or mutant 1 subunits in human embryonic kidney (HEK)-293T cells. Patch clamp studies confirmed the regulatory role of 1 in that relative to NaV1.2 alone the NaV1.2؉1 currents had right-shifted voltage dependence of activation, fast and slow inactivation and reduced use dependence. In addition, the NaV1.2؉1 current entered fast inactivation slightly faster than NaV1.2 channels alone. The 1(R85C) subunit appears to be a complete loss of function in that none of the modulating effects of the wild type 1 were observed when it was co-expressed with NaV1.2. Interestingly, the 1(R85H) subunit also failed to modulate fast kinetics, however, it shifted the voltage dependence of steady state slow inactivation in the same way as the wild type 1 subunit. Immunohistochemical studies revealed cell surface expression of the wild type 1 subunit and undetectable levels of cell surface expression for both mutants. The functional studies suggest association of the 1(R85H) subunit with the ␣ subunit where its influence is limited to modulating steady state slow inactivation. In sum-mary, the mutant 1 subunits essentially fail to modulate ␣ subunits which could increase neuronal excitability and underlie GEFS؉ pathogenesis. (S. Petrou). Abbreviations: EGFP, enhanced green fluorescent protein; GEFSϩ, generalized epilepsy with febrile seizures plus; HEK, human embryonic kidney; PBS, phosphate-buffered saline; SCN1A, sodium channel ␣1 subunit; SCN1B, sodium channel 1 subunit; WT, wild type.

As this book hopefully reveals, the field is a complex and diverse one and it would be naive to suggest that a methodological and theoretical approach could ever be drawn up and regarded as definitive. Indeed, as David Bell points out in the following chapter, the theoretical complexity that typifies New Media may even reflect the state of play in current Net and Web research, suggesting the openness of New Media to 'cut and paste' different methods and theoretical approaches together. However, although there may not actually be something as clearly discernible as 'digital theory', that should not prevent us from locating and exploring a new set of theoretical issues and methodologies which might better suit and reflect our current media age.
