To this purpose, CESI has recently put into service an ad hoc Laboratory where these robotic systems can be effectively developed and tested with regard to a variety of possible applications in power generating plants, transmission and distribution networks. Moreover the Laboratory is adequate to perform all kinds of qualification and certification tests on industrial robots

Five different types of batteries have been investigated. Typical service stresses were identified for the case of a lead accumulator employed in electric vehicles, photovoltaic plants and conventional systems. Tests were done on non-aged accumulators in the discharge phase and in the presence of different types of electrical and service stresses. The aim of the tests was to identify parameters for the formulation of accumulator models.

Finally, some preliminary suggestions are proposed to this goal.

In order to improve air quality in the Controlled Traffic Zone "Area C" of Milan, in addition to ... more In order to improve air quality in the Controlled Traffic Zone "Area C" of Milan, in addition to the rules already in force, two topics now under consideration by the municipality are the increase of car-sharing and measures to stimulate the use of electric vehicles, including their adoption for the last-mile delivery of goods. The paper presents the evaluation of the potential benefits of electric vehicles, in particular for the case of goods delivery. Comparisons to present i.c.e. based vehicles are presented in terms of economical aspects (from the point of view of the end user and of the Country), energy consumption and pollution impact (both local and global). Also the contribution to costs and pollution of two-wheels motor vehicles is taken into consideration in order to give a more complete overview of the different traffic segments.
