Therefore, the authors aimed to model a new strategy (technologies and processes), using the principles made available by Industry 4.0. Method The strategy consists in an IoT thermoscanner (developed by the authors, strategically placed throughout the settlement), and an innovative method of disinfection (achieved by redesigning the sanitization processes, using UV-C rays and gaseous Ozone produced by IoT machines, again conceptualized and developed by the authors, being capable of reproducing the Chapman Cycle and its associated benefits). This method was discussed in the article "Sanitizing of Confined Spaces Using Gaseous Ozone Produced by 4.0 Machines," which was presented at the WCE 2021 IAENG Congress (Best Paper Award of the 2021 International Conference of Systems Biology and Bioengineering). Result The results consist in: 1. an absolute disinfection syst...

This problem is already faced by wearable devices, with some limits. The system proposed consists in monitoring the bed, instead of the patient, through applied sensors. By centralizing and analyzing the data collected it is possible to inform the operative center of the occurrence of risky events. The scope is preventing such risks or mitigating their effects with a real time intervention. Important 4.0 features are added to the new release presented in this extension, like Digital Twins and Cyber Physical Systems enhanced with Artificial Intelligence. The case study proposed in the original paper has been updated with new figures, widely improving the sustainability of the initiative.

Some aspects of development strategy at sphere have also been discussed. The features of advantages in foreign countries are analyzed. Institutional, production and technical capabilities for further development and the effective using of present resources and the important ways of increasing of effectiveness and stimulation of the work have been identified. Key-Words: textile and light industry, investment, export, import, capability, management, marketing

Many of the non-Newtonian fluids which occur in practical applications, such as molten plastics, polymers, foods exhibit the so-called Ostwald-de-Waele power law nonlinearity. Introducing the stream function in governing partial differential equations of mathematical models of various physical processes and choosing the similar variables we obtain the boundary value problem for the similar ordinary differential equation or their system. These similar equations have different type of non-linearity and depend on parameters. We shall study the analytic solutions to different problems: boundary layer flow past a stationary surface or boundary layer flow over a solid surface continuously moving in a fluid, etc. Brief Biography of the Speaker: Professor Bognar received the M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Miskolc, Miskolc, Hungary, Ph.D. and 'Candidate' degree in ...

For this reason, they are widely studied in many fields. This paper aims to provide the current state of the art of Digital Twin and/or Simulation involved in Decision Support System (DSS) whose data are processed through Data Mining techniques applied in the healthcare sector. In this view, the authors' research has been based on the following keywords: Healthcare, Hospital, Digital Twin, Simulation, Data Mining and Decision Support System. Doing so, it has been possible to gather 13 papers which have been carefully studied

The job scheduling of a multi-crane system is an interesting problem of optimization, solved in many ways in the past. This paper describes a comparison between the optimization by the use of Genetic Algorithms (GA) and introduce a framework for the solution of the problem using machine learning driven by Neural Networks (NN). Even though this last approach is not implemented in this paper, performances very close to GA ones are expected with NN. A case-study for steel coil production is proposed as a test frame for two different simulation software tools, one based on a heuristic solution and one on machine learning; performances and data achieved from reviews and simulations are compared.

This splits an activity in multiple ones and, when the last ends, they are collected in a new single output activity. This block has been created using AnyLogic ® software. Furthermore, in order to show the wide application range of this block two different applications are provided. The first one has been performed in a harbor and the data are collected by means of questionnaires. The second one has been performed in a hospital, in particular in the surgical process. In this last application the data are gathered using Data Mining applied to real medical database which contains a huge
Project schedules supporting the production and maintenance of heavy special machinery, ships and... more Project schedules supporting the production and maintenance of heavy special machinery, ships and aircrafts have to be updated, e.g. due to changed order contents and dates, resource breakdowns, further projects etc. In addition to the production target, an update should also aim to have as few deviations as possible to a current schedule (i.e. solution robustness), aiming to prevent revisions of further decisions (e.g. material procurement, subcontracting, worker attendance). This raises the need for a multi-objective evaluation of deviations and a proper rescheduling procedure. The aim of the paper is to design two algorithms for optimization and robustness evaluation, perceiving robustness as deviations between one current schedule and one possible reschedule created by the simulation-based optimization. In contrast to existing approaches, we propose to measure those deviations with respect to various dimensions. Two algorithms are designed, measuring timely deviations (e.g. devi...

The methodology, developed stochastically, makes extensive use of Discrete Event Simulation and the Monte Carlo method to optimize, for each hour of operation, the ratio of production from RES to supply from traditional sources. The final output is summarized as a cumulative distribution function of the hourly lack of power produced by RES compared to system demands. In this way, the manager can, sufficiently in advance, select the most appropriate procurement strategy
