There are also few medium-to-large-scale survey results with nationally representative populations focusing on paranormal experiences. This paper provides details of an exploratory survey conducted in 2009 with a nationally representative sample of 4,096 adults aged 16 years and over across Great Britain [1] . Our findings show that 37% of British adults report at least one paranormal experience and that women, those who are middle-aged or individuals resident in the South West are more likely to report such experiences. These results establish incidence levels of reported paranormal experiences in contemporary Britain. We argue also that they merit a more sustained sociological consideration of the paranormal. In this respect we renew and update the robust justification and call for serious research positioning the paranormal as a social phenomeno...

A translation example is a corresponding of two sentences in which one of them from the language L a and the other one from the language L b. F rom given two translation examples we create a match sequence for sentences of the language L a , and another match sequence for sentences of the language L b. F rom these match sequences, general templates are learned using certain learning heuristics. These heuristics replace di erences or similarities in the match sequences, and establish bindings between variables to create a general template. These learned translation templates can be used in the translation of other sentences in both directions.

The book has three objectives. It offers an account of the way in which contemporary researchers are employing introspection methodologies; it argues for the importance of viewing introspective data as discourse, and illustrates this via discussion of research findings in four substantive chapters; and it outlines new directions for research and theorising on introspection and consciousness which will have implications for a range of psychological and social science disciplines.
