Recent developments in the smart mobility domain have transformed automobiles into networked tran... more Recent developments in the smart mobility domain have transformed automobiles into networked transportation agents helping realize new age, large-scale intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The motivation behind such networked transportation is to improve road safety as well as traffic efficiency. In this setup, vehicles can share information about their speed and/or acceleration values among themselves and infrastructures can share traffic signal data with them. This enables the connected vehicles (CVs) to stay informed about their surroundings while moving. However, the inter-vehicle communication channels significantly broaden the attack surface. The inter-vehicle network enables an attacker to remotely launch attacks. An attacker can create collision as well as hamper performance by reducing the traffic efficiency. Thus, security vulnerabilities must be taken into consideration in the early phase of CVs' development cycle. To the best of our knowledge, there exists no such automated simulation tool using which engineers can verify the performance of CV prototypes in the presence of an attacker. In this work, we present an automated tool flow that facilitates false data injection attack synthesis and simulation on customizable platoon structure and vehicle dynamics. This tool can be used to simulate as well as design and verify controltheoretic lightweight attack detection and mitigation algorithms for CVs.

Malignancy can start from any three layers of the epidermis, the probability of malignancy is upraised in those people where melanin pigment availability is genetically less. Increasing cases of malignant cancer have attracted researchers to find new approaches for their identification, and characterization. Various research studies have used Picture filtering and Computer’s vision that segregate malignancy into broadly seven category but Machine learning neural network models has a considerable advantage in clinical dermatology as these utilize VGGNet16, ResNet50, and CNN models. These models are applied for high-quality images with 128x128 and 256x256 resolution on HAM (HUMAN Against Machine) data sets having 10000 images. This approach focuses on the prediction of any classified skin malignancy taking patient image as a processing input. The commercial application will not only shorten the cost of the treatment but will also provide quick results for large population (around 3 million people) globally.

Mutation breeding is an effective tool for creation of genetic variability in chickpea crop due t... more Mutation breeding is an effective tool for creation of genetic variability in chickpea crop due to its selfpollinated nature and narrow genetic base. The seeds of three desi varieties released from Pantnagar were mutagenized with physical mutagen (gamma rays at 300 and 400 Gy doses) and chemical mutagen (ethyl-methane sulphonate @ 0.5%) and their combination treatments. M1 generation showed gradual decrease in germination with increase in mutagen strength in addition to this, combination treatments caused more biological damage than individual mutagen treatment. In M2 generation, variance for varieties revealed significant differences for thirteen agronomic traits except two i.e. number of primary branches per plant and pod length. However, all kinds of mutagenic treatments and variety x treatment variance were significant for eight traits including yield per plant. Different viable mutants were identified for early and late maturity, stem and leaf character, mutants with high number of primary branches or secondary branches and double mutants. In general, combined treatments 300 Gy + 0.5% EMS and 400 Gy + 0.5% EMS were observed to be most effective in inducing variability for most of the characters under study. But, frequency of viable mutants increased with increase in dose of gamma ray, whereas EMS alone gave comparatively higher frequency than combined treatments in all the three varieties. The isolated mutants suitable for mechanical harvesting and ideal plant type with early flowering can be used as genetic stocks and utilized in future crop improvement programs.

The soil sample was enriched in minimal salt medium containing chitin as sole carbon source. 30 Bacterial species were isolated from enriched soil sample by serial dilution technique and spread plate technique on chitin agar medium. The isolated bacterial species were screened for chitinase production by primary and secondary screening. In the primary screening chitinase production were confirmed by hydrolysis zone and in secondary screening submerged fermentation were used for the chitinase production by using 1% colloidal chitin in nutrient broth. Among the 30 bacterial colonies R4 shown highest zone of hydrolysis and maximum chitinase activity at pH 6.0. Further R4 were characterized and identified as a Neisseria species according to Bergeys manual of Bacteriology.
