Educational institutions fase changes and challenges in development and technological training wi... more Educational institutions fase changes and challenges in development and technological training with greater demand occurs in the university, being necessary to accredit the teacher and student to respond to a society full of uncertainty. This article addresses the analysis of digital skills in teaching-learning prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the study is to analyze the current situation regarding the knowledge, use and training in digital skills in the teaching-learning process of the student and teacher of the Common Area of the Faculty of Economic Sciences. It is a study with a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design, with a descriptive scope. To calculate the sample, the statistical formula for finite populations was used, obtaining a sample of 137 students and 17 teachers.
