Through the hybridization phenomenon, appropriate properties can be obtained for the use of these biocomposites in the bone plate and external fixation. The paper presents the manufacture of hybrid laminate with epoxy matrix reinforced with carbon fiber and glass fiber, three-point bending test method and the influence of the laminate layering sequence on the bending behavior of composite biomaterial.

The 3D printing device on metal uses the technological process—selective laser melting, through w... more The 3D printing device on metal uses the technological process—selective laser melting, through which dental works with precision and speed can be printed. The dental works are printed on the surface of a metal platform, their attachment being with the help of supports. It is important that this study can rehabilitate the platforms on which the printing is done, by rectification, through several steps, namely: removal of residues (metal supports of dental work), smoothing the work platform with a device that has an abrasive material, washing them under a stream of hot water, so that the grease residues are removed, then keep them in a clean environment.

Kistler Force Plate (FP) (model 9286AA) with the corresponding software Bioware (2812A1-3, Versio... more Kistler Force Plate (FP) (model 9286AA) with the corresponding software Bioware (2812A1-3, Version: 3.2.6.104), along with other equipment, were used for the research described in the present paper. The software contains a number of equations for the calculation of all the variables obtained in the form of amplified electrical signals from the piezoelectric sensors incorporated in the FP. The parameters used from Bioware are the center of pressure bi planar along two axes and the forces along three axes. These parameters have been collected during different standard intervals (30 seconds and 90 seconds) of time at a frequency of 100Hz. Using this, there has been used a couple of new parameters along with others, from the scientific literature, in order to evaluate the balance of the human subjects in various conditions. This can lead, analogically, to the analysis of robot stable and dynamic balance, considering also the ZMP (Zero Moment Point) method. The study was taken at Transylvania University of Brasov.

This paper presents the development of a low-cost platform in the field of telemedicine, which ca... more This paper presents the development of a low-cost platform in the field of telemedicine, which can be used to monitor people suspected of being infected with SAR-COV-2. The platform was developed and tested at the Medical Engineering Laboratory of the Transilvania University of Brasov. The first part of the paper is dedicated to the importance of the research topic and the concept of telemedicine. The second part presents the main hardware elements that are used to make this platform. The research presented in the present paper concern the treatment of signals obtained from monito... more The research presented in the present paper concern the treatment of signals obtained from monitoring the encephalic function through electroencephalogram. The signal processing is based on the creation of a routine in named Labview software, which allow analyzing both electrocardiographic and electroencephalographic (EEG) signals. Automatic interpretation of an EEG implies analyzing a large diversity of normal and abnormal wave forms on a great number of channels. EEG monitoring aims the detection of significant changes either for slow and fast waves (spikes). A routine was created in LabVIEW software for processing the EEG signal and to indicate anesthesia degree (cerebral state index). A new geometry should be implemented in the very small dimensions of such space-time [1]. Indeed, the theory of energetic entities EVTD 2 structuring this space-time allows phenomenological explanations for observed behaviors, depending on the case, between two masses more or less distant one from the other. Blindness is the phenomenon of partial or total losing of eyesight, named in the published literature as „poor eyesight", due to neurological or physiological factors.This device is a keyboard that can be connected to any computer, phone or tablet via cable. The keyboard will have twelve buttons, six of them are predefined, and the other 6 form the Braille language cell.

The paper is the complement and the encrypted justification for the assumptions already employed ... more The paper is the complement and the encrypted justification for the assumptions already employed in [1], regard the consideration of the quantum gravitational potentials in quantum gravity EVTD 2 . The revisited free fall of bodies allows phenomenological explanation of differences on Earth and the Moon. In [1], the conclusion attributes the acceleration of free fall to the quantum levels of active potential on segments of adapted and progressive lengths for a move away from the mass. Here, the major confirmation of the probable understanding of developments of this phenomenon is given, considering the constant and particular work of OME that initiates the gravitation force [2-9]. But it is more a question of evolutionary duration of simultaneous compaction on different quantum levels hierarchical lengths, occupied by these potentials generating corresponding accelerations. Key words: quantum compaction, quantum gravity, EVTD 2 theory, quanta substratum and potentials.

We have chosen to design this medical implant, because the lateral malleolar fracture represents 40-45% of the skeletal fractures. At the present moment, orthopaedic screws and some metallic plates do the osteosynthesis of this region, but the results are not satisfied.

Studies and researches in medical devices made evident the need of new systems and technologies f... more Studies and researches in medical devices made evident the need of new systems and technologies for locomotors recovery of human body as to reduce the reintegration time in normal activities and, not the least, to improve the recovery quality, to give the possibility to perform natural movements identical to those before the suffered injury. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to obtain the 3D virtual model of a mechanism describing the hand kinematics, and a real medical prototype device to be used in locomotors recovery of the hand. In order to perform the movements, pneumatic fluidic actuators are used, considering that they are flexible, small, made especially for this project. A specialized software for assisted design is used to obtain the virtual model and for the fabrication of device component parts Rapid-Prototyping technology is applied, the Fused Deposition Modeling principle (FDM).

Concerning different “philosophical” considerations from the argument point of view, it must be mentioned that treatment is rarely resolving, more often a life quality improvement is obtained. The problem of valve prosthesis diameter is a very sensitive one, because its quality must ensure not only dimensional but also physiological parameters. In this paper we propose to present the dependence between valve’s diameter and its type, patient’s homodynamic characteristics and its physical activity.
