Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberdayaan petani kelapa sawit oleh Dinas Perkebuna... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberdayaan petani kelapa sawit oleh Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan yang mayoritas masyarakatnya mempunyai mata pencaharian sebagai petani kelapa sawit. Namun, produksi kelapa sawit di daerah tersebut masih relatif rendah. Untuk dapat meningkatkan produksi perkebunan kelapa sawit masyarakat, pemerintah membuat program Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (PSR). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yaitu pemberdayaan petani kelapa sawit melalui program tersebut. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pemberdayaan dari Lambelanova yang terdiri dari perencanaan pemberdayaan, pendampingan intensif, pembauran, pelibatan masyarakat terdampak, pengawasan serta evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan petani kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan masih kurang optimal. Hal tersebut karena dari enam tahapan pemberdayaan, hanya ada dua tahapan yang berjalan dengan baik. Tingkat pengetahuan petani yang masih rendah, ketidakstabilan harga jual kelapa sawit, sarana dan prasarana yang tidak cukup serta ketidakpercayaan anggota terhadap pengurus kelompok tani menjadi beberapa hambatan dalam proses pemberdayaan ini.

Kelapa sawit merupakan primadona sektor perkebunan di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan. Mayoritas masyarakat bekerja sebagai petani kelapa sawit. Namun di Kecamatan Kampung Rakyat sendiri produksi yang diharapkan masih rendah. Untuk dapat meningkatkan produksi perkebunan kelapa sawit masyarakat tersebut dibutuhkan upaya dari Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan selaku Instansi Pemerintah yang mengurusi terkait Bidang Perkebunan. This research problem focuses on determining the local government's ideal strategy in facilit... more This research problem focuses on determining the local government's ideal strategy in facilitating employment in the Melawi Regency to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency. The research method is qualitative by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers also conducted a SWOT analysis to find the right strategy in determining the strategy that the local government of Melawi Regency could undertake in facilitating employment to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency. The provincial government's role in facilitating the workforce to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency is not optimal due to factors of funds, infrastructure and facilities factors, information factors, and human resource factors. The study results explain that nine strategies can be done in facilitating employment to increase public investment in Melawi Regency.

Residence plays a critical role in defining the nation's character and identity as part of the initiative to create a whole human being. However, not all Indonesian people can get a decent place to live as mandated by our constitution. Their small income causes them to be unable to buy a house which is getting more expensive. The city government of Palembang has launched a policy of low-cost housing for low-income communities (MBR). However, this policy has not been maximally successful. This study intends to find the right strategy and model in implementing the policy. This research uses a qualitative approach by making in-depth observations and a literature approach.

This research problem focuses on determining the local government's ideal strategy in facilit... more This research problem focuses on determining the local government's ideal strategy in facilitating employment in the Melawi Regency to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency. The research method is qualitative by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers also conducted a SWOT analysis to find the right strategy in determining the strategy that the local government of Melawi Regency could undertake in facilitating employment to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency. The provincial government's role in facilitating the workforce to increase public investment in the Melawi Regency is not optimal due to factors of funds, infrastructure and facilities factors, information factors, and human resource factors. The study results explain that nine strategies can be done in facilitating employment to increase public investment in Melawi Regency.

Residence plays a critical role in defining the nation's character and identity as part of the initiative to create a whole human being. However, not all Indonesian people can get a decent place to live as mandated by our constitution. Their small income causes them to be unable to buy a house which is getting more expensive. The city government of Palembang has launched a policy of low-cost housing for low-income communities (MBR). However, this policy has not been maximally successful. This study intends to find the right strategy and model in implementing the policy. This research uses a qualitative approach by making in-depth observations and a literature approach.
