A potato's performance can be predicted using machine learning techniques in cases when there is enough data. This study aimed to develop a highly precise model for determining the optimal levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium required to achieve both high-quality and high-yield potato crops, taking into account the impact of various environmental factors such as weather, soil type, and land management practices. We used 900 field experiments from Kaggle as part of a data set. We developed, evaluated, and compared prediction models of k-nearest neighbor (KNN), linear support vector machine (SVM), naive Bayes (NB) classifier, decision tree (DT) regressor, random forest (RF) regressor, and eXtreme gradient boosting (XGBoost). We used measures such as mean average error (MAE), mean squared error (MSE), R-Squared (RS), and R 2 Root mean squared error (RMSE) to describe the model's mistakes and prediction capacity. It turned out that the XGBoost model has the greatest R 2 , MSE and MAE values. Overall, the XGBoost model outperforms the other machine learning models. In the end, we suggested a hardware implementation to help farmers in the field.

In this article, an approach to develop an example of lower third in Arabic language and facial detection and recognition for news presenter that provide accurate classification results as well as the presentation of different methods and algorithms for Arabic characters. Many studies have been presented in this area, however a satisfactory classification accuracy is yet to be achieved. The comparative state-of-the-art results adopt the latest approaches to study face recognition or OCR, but this model supports both at the same time. it will present the context of realization, the method proposed to extract the texts in the video, using machine learning, about the specificity of the Arabic language, and finally the reasons that govern the decisions taken in the steps of realization. The best results from this approach in real project at the media station was 90.60%. The dataset collected via presenters images and the character dataset via the Pytesseract library.

Usually, this problem consists to move employees from one site to another based on one or more criteria. Our goal in this new approach is to improve the quality of service and performance of all sites with maximizing an objective function under some managers imposed constraints. The formulation presented here of this problem coincides perfectly with a Combinatorial Optimization Problem (COP) which is in the most cases NP-hard to solve optimally. To avoid this difficulty, we have opted to use a meta-heuristic popular method, which is the genetic algorithm, to solve this problem in concrete cases. The results obtained have shown the effectiveness of our approach, which remains until now very costly in time. But the reduction of the time can be obtained by different ways that we plan to do in the next work.

This approach consists of two steps; the first step is to formalize the studied problem that is practically take the form of the generalized assignment problem (GAP) known as NP-hard problem. Additionally, the variables in the formulation of our problem are interlinked by certain constraints. These two proprieties can to justify the important complexity of this problem. The second step is focused to solve this complex problem by using the genetic algorithm. We present the experimentally result for justifying the validity of the proposed approach. So, the solution obtained allowed us to get an optimal assignment of personnel that can lead to improve the average productivity or ratability or at least ensure its equilibration within sites of enterprise.

This work's major contribution is to specify the most accurate algorithm among the three machine learning algorithms (k-nearest neighbors (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), artificial neural network (ANN)). This is achieved by collecting irrigation data of a specific products and split it into training data and test data then compare the accuracy of the three algorithms. To do this, we deliver an intelligent recruitment decision-making method for HR, incorporating a recruitment model based on the multipack model known as the NP-hard model. The system, which is a decision support tool, often integrates a genetic approach that operates alternately in parallel and sequentially. This approach will provide the best recruiting solution to allow HR managers to make the right decision to ensure the best possible compatibility with the desired objectives. Operationally, this system can also predict the altered choice of parallel genetic algorithm (PGA) or sequential genetic algorithm (SeqGA) depending on the size of the instance and constraints of the recruiting posts to produce the quality solution in a reduced CPU time for recruiting decision-making. The results obt...

By taking into consideration various constraints, this problem can be defined as a NP-hard combinatorial problem as we have showed [2]. In this work, we have developed the mathematical formulation of this problem and proposed a genetic approach to the search for an optimal solution, but we have noticed that the phenomenon of stagnation of this proposed genetic algorithm persists although increases in the number of iterations lead to a significant consumption of computing time and memory space. To remedy this problem, we propose in this paper to integrate new genetic methods, such as Standard Immigration Genetic (SIG) [2], able of improving the convergence towards the optimum. The agents reassigned engender an overall weight considered as the performance. This objective constraint is parameterized by a tolerance coefficient to adjust the number of agents reassigned and the global weight engendered. In this paper, we have formalized the problem as a combinatorial optimization problem which has a dynamic aspect. The high complexity of this problem is justified firstly by the dynamic aspect wish the displacements are dependents and secondly is more complex than a generalized assignment problem (GAP). Our goal is to use a genetic approach to search the best solution of this complex problem to determine the correct values of this coefficient that ensures the improvement of performance for each unit. The implementation of this approach is particularly include the operators genetic witch give as encouraging results to solve the Traveled Salesman Problem (TSP) that is typical NP-complete problems.
