This research aimed to get empirical evidence of the effect of a pair work strategy integrated with YouTube channels in increasing students’ speaking performance. Mobile learning is becoming increasingly common. As a result, a plethora of apps or smartphone applications has emerged to assist both teachers and students in improving the quality of learning. The introduction of Go Animate as a new method to facilitate mobile learning in the classroom was explored in the previous report. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, the current study looks at another program called Anitales. Anitales is a program that allows you to make animated stories. Three university students who used Anitales in their Digital Storytelling Class were interviewed. The data was then analyzed using thematic analysis. Intercultural listening activities conducted at a university in West Java has evidently proven its contribution in consolidating the students’ cultural awareness. Through reflective journals and focused-group interviews, it is found that the students are able to discover, understand, and compare their own culture and others, realize the similarities and differences, and respect the existing gaps in between. Reflection plays an important role in language learning. Through reflection, students are encoura... more Reflection plays an important role in language learning. Through reflection, students are encouraged to learn how to learn to acquire deeper learning. This study investigates students' perceptions of digital reflective journals as a means of reflective practice in their ESP classroom. This study involved 45 students who enrolled in a Business English class where they were required to write reflective journals digitally at the end of the teaching and learning process. This study used questionnaires and semi-structured interviews as the instruments to collect the data. The quantitative data from the questionnaire were analysed with the assistance of SPSS to examine the frequency of students' responses to each statement listed on the questionnaire. Meanwhile, the qualitative data from semi-structured interviews were analysed through the steps of data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The findings of this study revealed that students admitted to the beneficial roles of digital reflective journals. It helped them raise their selfawareness, and develop their critical and problem-solving skills. Besides, they also assumed that writing reflective journals digitally was more convenient because it offered ease of access and flexibility. Therefore, digital reflective journals can serve as valuable tools to improve the quality of language learning that can be considered to be utilized in language classrooms.

Braun and Clarke’s Descriptive Case Study Design and Thematic Analysis techniques were used in this study. The primary data source was semi-structured interviews with four participants, transcribed and analysed using Thematic Analysis. This study discovered that blogging has advantages and disadvantages in the ER class. The advantage of using blogs as media in Extensive Reading classes is that blogging is easy to use and can increase student creativity. Furthermore, blogging can increase student motivation to read, serve as a forum for reflection, and increase learning autonomy. This study aims to investigate the students’ perception towards the use of Canvas to promote interactive online learning. Implementing case study as the research design, this study involved 77 students as the participants, and used both questionnaire and semi-structured interview to collect the data. In this study, the quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while the qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The researcher utilized mixed research methods to conduct this study. The information was gathered via questionnaires and interviews. The experts have tested and validated these instruments. The data were then quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. Quantitative data were analyzed with the aid of SPSS statistical calculations. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of speaking skills using the smartphone-based Pinterest application for second-semester students. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects are second-semester students. The research instruments are an observation sheet and a performance test sheet. Data collection techniques are used in the form of tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive statistical technique. The results of the study on second-semester students, experienced a good increase from the learning outcomes of the first cycle to the second cycle, with the standard value of student learning mastery of 85 classical standards.
