Government responses remain as a crucial part in preventing the transmission of the virus, through formulation of policy and strengthening of national capacity. This paper analyzed government responses, health security index and COVID-19 pandemic score from different countries. The Global Health security index from John Hopkin University was used in this study to measure the health security index, while the pandemic score is measured using double time. The study indicates a significant relationship between government responses, health security index and pandemic score. The government should improve its responsiveness as well as preparation to improve national capacity during the novel coronavirus pandemic

This study analyzes the impact of the CSR dimensions on community well-being (CWB). The measured CSR dimensions are economic, legal, and ethical aspects, including philanthropy. By contrast, CWB involves the social aspects, economic empowerment, and the environment. A total of 490 respondents from the local community answered survey questionnaires, while Smart PLS.3.0 is used for data analysis. Results of the structural model analysis identified a significant, positive, and direct relationship between CSR and CWB. The implications of this study establish an important link between the CSR and CWB dimensions.
