The emergence of legal status and rights of the LGBTQIA community has been mainly derived from the precedence and doctrines followed in the highest courts of the United States and its consequences can be seen in alleviating the conditions of the community all over the world. The experience of having an exclusive or nearly exclusive erotic preference for people of the same sex in fantasies and, typically, through the realisation of sexual intimacy with people of the same sex, is referred to as "homosexuality." It can be thought of in terms of identity, behaviour, and desire. The emotional reaction to same-sex attraction is homosexual desire.
