It is located in the southwestern part of the country, and its groundwater resources are developed for water supply and irrigation. Proper understanding of the geochemical evolution of groundwater is important for sustainable development of water resources in this region. A hydrogeochemical survey was conducted on the Plio-Quaternary shallow and on the Complex Terminal aquifers system using major (Ca, Mg, Na, SO 4 , Cl, NO 3 and HCO 3) and minor (Sr) elements, in order to evaluate the groundwater chemistry patterns and the main mineralization processes occurring in this system. Hydrochemical and isotopic data were used in conjunction with hydrogeological characteristics to investigate the groundwater composition in these aquifers. It has been demonstrated that groundwaters acquire their mineralization principally by water-rock interaction, i.e. dissolution of evaporites (halite/gypsum, pyrite, etc.) and return flow of irrigation waters, and by anthropogenic activities due to the use of nitrogen (N) fertilizers-pesticides in agriculture. The isotopic study of "stable isotopes, radiocarbon and tritium" (Yermani 2002) shows that a paleoclimatic recharge is corroborated by the relatively low carbon-14 activities (5-25.3%) of the referred groundwater group samples, which were interpreted as recharge occurring during the late Pleistocene and the early Holocene periods. The water feedings of these aquifers are mainly provided by infiltration of precipitations, infiltration of irrigation water, lateral feeding from Cretaceous relieves from the South and the North and along recent and fossil drainage networks that constitute major freshwater sources in groundwater tables (Hamed et al., J Environ Protect 1:466-474, 2010a).

They are a suitable water supply structure for regions like Pakistan where arid and semi-arid climate conditions are dominated. They can be an alternative solution for conditions when traditional surface dams are not suitable or applicable because of complex geological situation, safety hazards and silting up of dams. However, they cannot be considered for recreation, power generation and as universal method for water supply. By using underground dams for storing water, instead of surface dams, many of the aforesaid problems may be overcome. In addition, besides of their main purpose, providing groundwater storage, underground dams are the most reliable method to prevent saltwater intrusion which is a vital offshore problem. Besides many advantages, there are multiple disadvantages as well; such as inadequate reservo...

Financial studio can facilitate employers of any department and other individuals. The application is developed using MIT app inventor-based android platform. The financial studio has four computational modules, namely: (i) tax, (ii) pension, (iii) zakat, and (iv) loan. The system provides an integrated environment for performing aforementioned distinct calculations by integrating different financial modules into a single application in a user-friendly way. The statistical analysis shows that the application is effective to deal with different financial calculations.

Study Design: Cross Sectional study. Setting: Department of Radiology, Allied Hospital Faisalabad. Period: 11 February 2021 to 30 April 2022. Material & Methods: A cross-sectional study of 161 pregnant women was conducted at the radiology department of allied hospital Faisalabad. The Inclusion Criteria were 114 pregnant women with abnormal biophysical profile and with a history of previous IUGR fetus pregnancy. All women's ultrasounds were performed on color Doppler. Data was analyzed by using IBM-SPSS version 25. Results: In our study age ranged from 18-42 years with mean age of 27.2547 ± 6.46363 years. The RI of MCA ranged from 0.30-0.90 % in the IUGR patients with the mean value 0.5330 ± 0.16134, and the RI of MCA ranged from 0.60-0.70 % in the normal was 0.6632 ± 0.4828.
