On the contrary, qira’ats play an important role in studying the semantics of the Qur’an, its words and expressions. At the level of Islamic law, tafsir and qira’ats have played a decisive role in theoretical concretization of Shariah norms contained in the text of the Qur’an, as well as in the establishment of methodological and legal principles by which their derivation was conducted. The commentators of the Qur’an have been responsible towards qira’ats, in ways that that they examined their authenticity and the mode of transmission very carefully, because not all qira’ats are transferred via mutawātir transmission. Consequently, not all of them can be an expression of the Qur’an by which worship can be performed or an expression that can be uttered in a prayer. Allah, the Exalted, vehemently condemns unlawful taking of other being’s life. Moreover, the Qur’an rejects the excessive use of force in retaliating against violence: If you want to retaliate against injustice, then let it be equivalent to what you have suffered. But if you patiently endure, it is certainly better for you (An Nahl, 26). The Qur’anic principle of reciprocal force and defense will be applied in international humanitarian and war law as the principle of the proportionate use of force in defense. They are not only exotic styles of voice variations and modulation, but an integral part of the language of the Qur'an, its lexical, morphological and syntactic structure. Understanding that aspect is a prerequisite for a correct interpretation of the greatest part of the Qur'anic text. The Qur'an is the first source of Islamic law. Based on its text, general and specific Sharia norms were derived. This aspect of the Qur'an has always been a subject of interest for numerous Islamic scholars in the context of the interpretation of normative ayats – ayat al-ahkam. It is said that great nations have institutions and small – great individuals who ensure the continuation of their nation by their extraordinary sacrifice. This outstanding scholar held speeches, wrote, read and studied, in particular the Qur’an and hadith. He organized seminars for imams and he personally visited numerous jamaats in Central Bosnia and beyond, telling them on those occasions about the basics of pedagogical work. He gave imams school boards that he himself procured and paid for as well as wall boards for learning Arabic script, which he prepared and printed at his own expense. This came as a great relief to imams at a time when it was not easy to get textbooks for teaching Arabic script and similar professional literature. The Prophet of Allah, Muhammad, peace be upon him, personally used to send the Qur’an reciters to some provinces with the task to teach others the correct recitation of the Qur’an. With respect to this, tajweed is a scientific discipline that studies the phonetics of the Qur’an. Since the advent of Islam up to the present days scientific Muslim circles all around the world have properly understood the importance of this discipline. This resulted in extensive literature almost in all languages, spoken by numerous Muslim nations.
