The purpose of this study is to verify the condition of European Union economy and its ability to... more The purpose of this study is to verify the condition of European Union economy and its ability to effectively implement the concept of sustainable development in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. To achieve the goal settled by this research, we used the technical indicator MACD (Moving Average Convergence / Divergence), based on the assessment of the convergence and divergence of moving averages of macroeconomic indicators. The studies carried out made it possible to identify three scenarios for the state of the EU economy after 2022. All these scenarios pose a high risk of a crisis phenomena in this economic system. According to the optimistic scenario, after 2022, a downward correctional wave is predicted in the EU-27 economy with the emergence of a situation similar to the situation in 2008. The researches on Rome and Athens, Baghdad and Damascus provide ample information with a direct impact on understanding the evolution of human civilization. Fas, the Moorish city which initiated the Moroccan State, has always aroused the interest of historians and specialists. It is a unique social model and a city that has been able, thanks to its University Al-Qarawiyyin, to withstand all the harsh changes for centuries. This paper is intended to follow the evolution of this city through the expansion and historical dominance in North Africa and Europe throughout centuries.

Tolerance, complex and difficult theme to treat, still excites the interest of different discipli... more Tolerance, complex and difficult theme to treat, still excites the interest of different disciplines and provoke hard debate between specialists and other. It is a concept which indicates the reaction of individual and institutions (government, religious order or other entity) accepting which opposes beliefs, rules, moral and habitual conduct. It is the ability to receive what is unknown, different, and incomprehensible or what we disapprove. In concrete words tolerance is the expression of individual and collective consciousness in the social model. Historically, tolerance dates back to archaic forms of our civilization, and it always required a consensus between the formal and the informal, between practices and institutionalization. In our days, tolerance is a synonym of security and safety, a condition of peace; both in international and internal relationship tolerance represent the effective resolution to conflicts deriving from religious, political and cultural diversity. Given the importance accorded to tolerance, as requirement of sustainable peace and democracy, scholars and priests, despite the difference in practices, tried in a compromising way to establish a conventional acknowledgement for this word. Formally tolerance is described as consensual fair and objective value of our system, it is seen and experienced as an attitude recognizing and respecting the beliefs and practices of others, whose opinions, race, religion or nationality, are different from ours. In so much that human consciousness or subconsciousness observe and respect the idea of tolerance, as conventionally agreed, the life of nations and peoples is safe and peaceful, but when this condition fails, and tolerance is rejected, peace and safety become mythical concepts. Purpose: The purpose of our work is to analyze the efforts of the Islamic financial industry to d... more Purpose: The purpose of our work is to analyze the efforts of the Islamic financial industry to deal with the COVID-19 crisis and highlights its support for conventional finance, and global economy. Design/Methodology/Approach: Desk research and case studies were provided to identify type and scope of the legal and economic measures taken by the governance of Islamic finance meeting the challenges imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic and analyze how they match with the conventional finance proposed resolution. Findings: The outcome of this article is the evaluation of main measures of the Islamic finance system according to their effectiveness and efficiency providing a case study of the COVID-19 crisis. Practical Implications: The approach of the best practice to the global financial policy has been proposed. Global Islamic finance is largely concentrated in the Middle East, Asia and North Africa, where the Gulf Islamic finance markets hold a 40.3% share. The findings have been used to consider as the policy directives for the conventional finance system. Originality/Value: The assessment of the impact of the measures taken by Islamic finance industry, in short and long-term as a results of the process of integration and harmonization to conventional finance.

Starting with a presentation of the vision of the meaning of the reform, which differs from that perceived by old civilizations, he tries to cast light on the role of the reform and its impact on the development of society in general. At the second stage, attention is paid to the connotation of the new management of public affairs and financial reforms. In the last part, the author demonstrates how conventional finances integrate halal finance as a reform considering the changes that have marked the financial industry in recent years, especially the explosion of petrodollars, the deregulation and liberalization of financial markets.

The analysis focused on the definition of PMES and the problems that limit its function in European societies, especially conventional financial instruments that present a permanent challenge. Taking into account the cultural specificities and legal provisions that characterize the countries of the European Union, the paper tries to present the model of participative finance highlighting the key elements that will allow the exploitation of the potential of halal capital.
