For solving these kinds of decision problems, we require analytical method in which all the qualitative or quantitative attributes may or may not have same preferences. Selection of the best petrol car in the range of 8-10 lakh in India is one of the similar kind of complex and tough multi criteria decision problem. For selection of the best petrol car, six qualitative and six quantitative attributes have been considered. The preferences to different attributes have been assigned with the help of experts of the concerned field. In this research paper, car selection problem has been solved using novel hybrid Multi Criteria Decision Making Problem (MCDM) method. Fuzzy AHP method has been applied for qualitative attributes, while Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) approach has been applied for quantitative attributes considered for selection of the best petrol car. Finally, the result obtained from Fuzzy AHP for qualitative attributes and GRA for quantitative attributes have been combined using the proposed hybrid MCDM method. The final score obtained by this hybrid MCDM method has been used for ranking of the different petrol car

The pot experiments were done at five different sowing depths i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 cm with two different varieties of Okra i.e., Parbhani Kranti and Pusa Sawani. The pots were arranged in randomized complete block design with four replications. The pot experiments were conducted on the roof top and the field experiments were done in Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar in India. Data were taken after 4, 5 and 7 days after sowing okra seed. Result showed that Okra sown at 4 and 5 cm deep reduced seedling emergence percentage significantly. Seedling emergence at 1, 2 and 3 cm sowing depth was good but okra sown at 5 cm depth showed most damaging in this regard. The highest sowing depth for okra is 3 cm. The two varieties of okra i.e., Parbhani Kranti and
Pusa Sawani have responded nearly same in the terms of emergence percentage in pot as well as in field experiments at different depth of sowing of okra.

Car selection is one of the complex and tough multi attribute decision problems. Due to advancement in technologies and competitiveness in the market, there are varieties of petrol car in the price range of 8-10 lakh available in the market. The choice of selection of the petrol car varies from person to person based on various qualitative and quantitative attributes. In this research paper, six important qualitative and six important quantitative attributes have been considered as per the group of experts of automobile engineering field for selection of the best petrol car from five shortlisted car. To solve this kind of complex multi criteria decision problem, hybrid MCDM (Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS) method has been used. The weight of all the qualitative attributes have been determined by huge customer survey and group of experts while equal weights have been considered for all the quantitative attributes. The results obtained from MCDM hybrid (Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS) method have been compared with the results obtained from another MCDM hybrid method (Fuzzy AHP and MOORA) method in order compare the rank of all the five shortlisted car.

Material selection for any engineering material or manufacturing process is one of the difficult or complex problem. For tool holder material selection, the quantitative or qualitative or both the attributes should be identified and taken into account. In this research paper, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) and Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method, both, have been used for tool holder material selection working under hard milling conditions. The weight of all the six attributes have been taken with the help of Entropy method. The ranking of all the available nine materials have been done by arranging grey relational grade and priority in descending order in GRA and MOORA method respectively. The results obtained from two different MCDM methods have compared to conclude the effects of different MCDM methods on ranking of materials. Among all the nine alternatives, Fe-5Cr-Mo-V was found as the best material in both the MCDM methods. Thus, Fe-5Cr-Mo-V can be selected as best material for tool holder material working under hard milling conditions.

Coal makes up around 27% of global primary energy and 37% of global electricity. Like other developing countries, India’s energy demands are also increasing. In India, Coal is the bulk primary energy contributor and demand of more than 70% of electricity is fulfilled by coal. Due to increasing energy demands, limited coal reserves and rapid increase in economic development, lots of question arises regarding life and qualities of the coal reserves. The aim of this research is to focus on availability of proved coal reserves, production and consumption of coal by different countries and regions of the world. The proved, indicated and inferred coal reserves available in different states of India have been discussed with production and consumption of coal by different states of India. Also, an attempt has been made to know the qualities of coal available in coal reserves of India. At last, life of coal of world as well as India has been estimated. The management policies that may be adopted to use coal in better ways considering environment pollutions have been discussed.
