Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is most important method in an additive manufacturing. The aim of the research is to analyze the mechanical properties of additively manufactured AlSi10Mg Aluminum alloy and compared with conventional manufacturing. In this work the mechanical properties are investigated of selective laser melting manufactured AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy and compared with sand and gravity die cast AlSi10Mg parts. The results are validated using simufact additive manufacturing software.

CNC machining procedures have a huge number of process parameters, making it challenging to find the best combination of parameters for increased accuracy. In this research work, the Taguchi method and ANOVA were used to study the effects of CNC machining parameters in EN8 steel turning: Surface roughness (Ra) value of component affected due to cutting speed, depth of cut and feed rate. Three-level three-parameter experimental design, using Minitab 17 software using L9 orthogonal array, using coated carbide insert cutting tools, using signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) to study the performance characteristics of EN8 steel turning. Belt conveyor system is mostly used in industries for transportation of raw materials and finishe... more Belt conveyor system is mostly used in industries for transportation of raw materials and finished products. This paper includes study of detailed design procedure and analysis of flat belt conveyor components for light duty applications. Belt conveyors used for segregation of defective products up to 2 kg maximum load whose conveyor capacity is 2 TPH and speed of the conveyor will be 3.5 m/min. Our paper includes study of design calculation of conveyor and FEA analysis of pulley, shaft and conveyor belt. 3D model is created using solid work software. FEA is done on ANSYS and Inventor software with appropriate loading condition, considering calculated tension. Stress analysis of shaft, pulley and belt is done to find highest stressed area of belt conveyor. By following the design procedure for flat belt conveyor system, all geometrical parameters obtained are within limits and design of conveyor is safe. In FEA, contact status and contact pressure between belt and pulleys are properly sticky and in contact. Max stress acting on belt is 58.85 MPa and deformation will occur at 87.88 MPa. Stress on shaft comes out to be 13.17 MPa.

The concept of (SCM) Supply Chain Management is complicated to interpret. The reason being, it includes numerous component flows, participants, role-players, as well as functions. Literature about SCM is spread across many functions, which differs in its scope, also it is many-a-times found to restrict to some components of supply chain management. The focus shift towards customer requirements has led to various advancements in this field. IT advances such as Big Data, Blockchain technology and IoT are revolutionizing the field of SCM. This makes it necessary to study these advances in detail. Hence this paper provides an in-depth overview of the current technological advances in SCM, further we also analyse the most influential work in this field by presenting a bibliographical analysis of the latest research papers. The paper also aims to present a literature review based on supply chain management in terms of its definitions, framework, challenges prevalent in the current industry and the development of advances in these domains.

While experimenting, parameters in the process like feed rate (fd), speed (vc), and depth of cut (DoC) were used to study the outcome on the surface roughness (Ra) of the workpiece. The experiment was carried out using the design of experiments (DOE) on a computer numerical control (CNC) lathe. The surface roughness is tested for three conditions i.e. Dry, Wet, and cryogenic conditions after the turning process. Samples are step turned on CNC Lathe for all three conditions with a set of experiments designed. The response surface methodology is implemented, and mathematical models are built for all three conditions. The nature-inspired algorithm is the best way to get the optimal value. Different applications of additive manufacturing were examined to determine future growth possibilities. The current research seeks to discover existing additive manufacturing techniques based on the process mechanisms, evaluate modelling approaches based on modelling methodologies, and identify required studies. A significant number of numerical simulations are conducted to evaluate the thermal FE structure in terms of solid and powder material thermo physical properties and permissible boundary conditions. The transient heat conduction is investigated using thermal analysis with a moving heat source.
