A total of twenty (N=20) male racket sports players with their age ranging between 17 to 23 years were selected. Further the total subjects were divided into 10 subjects each from badminton and tennis sports practices. The subjects were selected from the study centre of Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education both Gwalior and Guwahati center. In order to measure the pre competitive anxiety level, questionnaires, namely, Illiniois self-evaluation Inventory and Sports competition anxiety test (SCAT) were implemented on racket sports players and used as the tool for data collection. In order to analyze the data collected descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation and comparative statistics of multivariate analysis of variance was employed and was tested at 0.05 level of significance. The multivariate analysis was found to be insignificant in the sub factors of pre-competitive anxiety between badminton and tennis players as the value of Wilks' lambda (0.818) was found to be insignificant at 0.05 level of significance (p= 0.686). The insignificant value of MANOVA depicted that the sub factors of pre-competitive anxiety was at similar levels when compared between the male badminton and tennis sports players.

Material and Methods: Twenty randomly selected male students aged 18-28 years and who participated in North Zone Inter University Basketball Championship 2010-11 held at CSJMU Kanpur. The data was collected by the help of A Casio Exilim F-1 High Speed Camera and Siliconcoach pro 7 motion analysis system. The Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient was used to measure the relationship between selected kinematics variables with the performance of high dribble. The level of significance was set at 0.05. Results: The results have shown the values of coefficients of correlation of selected angular kinematics variables at moment preparation phase in High dribble were: right ankle joint (0.187), right knee joint (-0.010), right hip joint (-0.144), right shoulder joint (0.433), right elbow joint (-0.165), right wrist joint (-0.015) and Height of C.G. (0.137). In case of moment execution phase were: right ankle joint (0.197), right knee joint (-0.126), right hip joint (-0.144), right shoulder joint (0.188), right elbow joint (-0.346), right wrist joint (-0.060) and Height of C.G. (0.137). Conclusion: The statistical findings indicate that there exists an insignificant relationship between High dribble performance and Ankle (Right), Knee (Right), Hip (Right), shoulder (Right), Elbow (Right) & Wrist (Right) joints and Height of center of gravity at moment preparation and execution.

Further, the purpose of study was to find out the trend of the effect of various yogic intervention strategies on back strength of homemakers. Fifty homemakers from Gwalior city were selected as subjects for this study. The average age of the subject was 35-45 years. The parameter selected was Back Strength. The subjects were equally assigned using random sampling procedure into two groups, i.e., one experimental group and one control group. The quantitative measurement of each subject was taken before the training programme was started and after every month of training programme for the three months. ANCOVA was employed to find out the effect of various yogic intervention strategies in experimental group and control group on back strength and further, trend analysis was used to find out the trend effect of various yogic intervention strategies in experimental group on back strength at 0.05 level of significance. The study concluded that significant effects of various yogic intervention strategies on back strength were also found. In relation to the same, significant trend of the effect was also found. Linear trend was found significant on the other hand quadratic and cubic trend were found insignificant

For the purpose of study forty (n=40) soccer players in the age groups of 17 to 21 years belong to Th. Birchandra Singh Football Academy (TBSFA), Imphal West, Manipur were selected. Subjects were divided into Treatment and controlled group (20 players in each group). The data was collected through the administration of the Psychological Performance Inventory (PPI) by James E. Loehr (1996) containing 42 items. To find out the significant effect of the Psychological Skills Training Program on Selected Psychological Variables of Soccer Players, MANOVA for psychological variables was used and the level of significance was set at 0.05. The findings of the study revealed that there was a significant effect of soccer players on those who underwent the PST program as compared to the players in the controlled group.
