The performance of the first year of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system implementation, as a way to suppress motorization in JMA, is also described. It is found that the trend of motorization has already become a critical issue and suppressing the rapid increase of private cars is imperative. However, the existing public transport facilities are not adequate in fulfilling the demand, both in quality and quantity. The lesson learned from Jakarta Metropolitan Area's context illustrates the need to focus on a series of substantial actions as the future innovations. These suggested future innovations are believed to be beneficial for application in the JMA area, and also other developing cities.

Such assessment is an amalgamation of pavement condition assessment based roughness, grooves, and major damage to the pavement surface. On the pavement maintenance management, the determination of remaning service life is very important to be used as a decision tool for the road maintenance management program.

To deal with this issue, a systemic logic model has been developed to facilitate the monitoring and the evaluation analyses of road standards implementation. The model was written in Java Runtime Environment version 6 and designed to feature portability, acceptability, applicability, and useability. The model was developed based on expert survey and typology analysis to gather and select the determining variables and their indicators.Model application in the case of SNI 03-2853-1992 (guidelines on constructing road foundation using crushed stones) implementation is demonstrated in this paper. The results showed 58.50% of the sample "own" the standard, 61.18% "understand" the standard, 60.52% "implement" the standard, 51.39% "oversee" the implementation of the standard, and therefore the overall implementation score for the said standard was 59.08%. The model developed in this study has the potentials to provide recommendations to road administrators on whether or not a standard needs revision or even abolition.

On time performance is important because an aircraft has a value when the aircraft is in the air. This study tried to investigate the on time performance of domestic flights served by the Lion Air airline at Husein Sastranegara Airport, in Bandung. Aircraft actual data were obtained using flightradar24 application program while the aircraft daily flight schedules were given by PT Angkasa Pura II, the airport operator. The evaluation was performed on the aircraft time performance data of February 2015. The results showed that the average delay in the arrival of the aircraft is 44.31 minutes with a standard deviation of 44.54 minutes and the average departure delay in that month is 42.37 minutes with a standard deviation of 37.40 minutes. It can be concluded from this study that the Lion Air flight services at Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung, in February 2015 were not on time.

In addition, the development in this region led to the increased of motor vehicle ownership, particularly motorcycles. The growth in the number of vehicles that are not followed by the addition of a sufficient length of road causing traffic problems in the Jabodetabek area. Within about 10 years, travel time increased or travel speed dropped significantly in Jakarta. In addition, the implementation of several development programs, as results of the Study on Integrated Transportation Master Plan for the Jabodetabek (SITRAMP Jabodetabek) are not going according to plan, caused by weak legislation, lack of financial resources, difficulties in land acquisition, institutional constraints, and constraints in the implementation of traffic restrictions.

In this study, the Jambi West Ring Road, which is a primary arterial road in Jambi Province, with a high traffic density, is planned to be increased in capacity. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of service of the Jambi West Ring Road and the cost reduction experienced by road users when the road capacity is increased. This study focuses on calculating the ratio of traffic volume to road capacity, vehicle operating costs, and the time value of road users using the Jambi West Ring Road at peak hours. The methods used are the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual Method, the 1997 Jasa Marga Vehicle Operating Cost Calculation Method, and the income approach to calculate the time value. This study shows that if the capacity of the Jambi West Ring Road is increased, the level of service determined based on the ratio of traffic volume to road capacity will increase, from level of service E to level of service C. In addition, there will be cost savings for road users when widening the Jambi West Ring Road is carried out in accordance with Law No. 2 of 2022 and Government Regulation No. 34 of 2006 and the minimum lane width is determined based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 19 of 2011. The savings for road users is estimated at Rp9,212,633,00 per peak hour or about 8.6% saving.

The movement of goods and people must be able to run smoothly to accelerate economic growth. One type of infrastructure that can provide direct support is road infrastructure. Roads have an important role in regional development both from economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects. With its flexible nature, it can reach various regions and its development methods are relatively easy, the road being a favorite infrastructure to be developed. To achieve good quality road construction, a general specification must be met. In 2014, the Directorate General of Highways issued the 2010 General Specification (Revision 3) which was completed with the Road Supervision Manual document that referred to the specification. But with the increasing need for quality road construction and increasing awareness of the importance of maintenance activities, in 2018 the Directorate General of Highways issued a General Specification 2018. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the changes of the General Specifications and changes in the Road Supervision Manual.

Husein Sastranegara Airport has experienced growth in numbers of passengers and as a result passenger growth has exceeded the capacity of passenger terminal. Therefore, the development of a passenger terminal is needed. The aim of this research is to evaluate the suitability of Husein Sastranegara Airport's passenger terminal development with the National Standard of Indonesian (SNI) 03-7046-2004, about Passenger Terminal at Airports. The design of passenger terminal development as compared to the criteria stated in SNI 03-7046-2004. Those criteria are the passenger terminal area needs, passenger terminal areal and facility comprehensiveness, and also other areal and facility comprehensiveness. The research shows that the design of passenger terminal development could not fulfill the passenger terminal area needs for 20 years of design life because there is a lack of area and facilities. Other areas and facility comprehensiveness could already be obtained by the design for passenger terminal development at Husein Sastranegara Airport.

The growth of Jakarta is increasing, bringing with it paralyzing traffic congestion. The city has responded by planning to build a modern subway system (mass rapid transit system), connecting Blok M and Setasiun Kota. This system is believed by many to be able to solve congestion, particularly, in the North-South corridor of the city. The subway system is an ideal transportation system for big cities like Jakarta. To civic and political leaders it promises glamour and sophistication, and to urban planners it promises resolution of overwhelming traffic congestion. However, there are some aspects that need to be reviewed carefully before the implementation of the plan. Those aspects could be far more difficult and costly than was ever imagined in the planning phase. This paper explores the rationale for the Jakarta Subway Project. The discussion includes the need to have a subway transportation system, the benefits to the city, and the cost to build it. It is partly true that the subway system, which has a great capacity to move people, is the only system, which can be used to solve chaotic road conditions in Jakarta, since no other urban transportation mode has a bigger capacity to move people than this one. However, the financial and economic viability associated with this project need to be justified carefully.

Interview and travel diary surveys among public transport users were carried out in three different metropolitan in Indonesia: Jakarta, Bandung and Jogjakarta. The equity and affordability issues, previous experiences, the relationships between importance and satisfaction of the service's elements and the preferences towards various policies are explored. The results show that the acceptability of the individuals towards various different policies is formed by individuals' various socio-demographic aspects and is learning processes overtime. Only focus in one aspect, such as cost, negatively impacts the whole public transport system.
