In order to function effectively in the contemporary digital society, individuals need appropriate skills to be digitally literate and these skills need to be updated for information evaluation and knowledge gathering. Beside these digital literacy skills, another skills covering the ability to obtain, read, understand, and use healthcare information for addressing or solving various health problems are needed. In order to increase these both skills between population, especially between people with disabilities and elderly people, easiest way is to provide e-learning courses. Choosing the appropriate learning management system (LMS) in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standard in order to increase the digital and health literacy is a challenging task. In this paper we analyze and compare the key differences of the 8 most commonly used LMSs, according to the WCAG standard predefined criteria.

These heterogeneous data, that are stored in diverse data formats, have to be integrated and stored in a standard way and format to perform suitable efficient and effective data analysis and visualization. These data, which are generated from different sources such as mobile devices, sensors, lab tests, clinical notes, social media, demographics data, diverse omics data, etc., can be structured, semistructured, or unstructured. These varieties of data structures require these big data to be stored not only in the standard relational databases but also in NoSQL databases. To provide effective data analysis, suitable classification and standardization of big data in medicine and healthcare are necessary, as well as excellent design and implementation of healthcare information systems. Regarding the security and privacy of the patient’s data, we suggest employing suitable data governance policies. Additionally, we suggest choosing of proper software development frameworks, tools, databases, in-database analytics, stream computing and data mining algorithms (supervised, unsupervised and semisupervised) to reveal valuable knowledge and insights from these healthcare and medical big data. Ultimately we propose the development of not only patient-oriented but also decision- and population-centric healthcare information systems.

For external point of view, functional modelling is used to define business requirements through users' requirements, to refine system functionality and to define processes that have to be enabled with the objects, containing attributes and methods. The functional model specifies the meanings of operations over the objects and actions of the dynamic modelling. The acquired functional models are visualized by UML use case diagrams and use case scenarios according to the software engineering principles. As a result of using use case diagrams, activity diagrams have to be done as a part of the functional model. These components of the model define the basic building blocks, roles and activities as well as the rules. They are used in the next software development phases in order the developers to have a clear understanding of the whole project. The paper presents the practical application of the functional modelling by using use case diagrams through scenario methods and highlighted processes with the use case and activity diagrams for information system for IT education company management.

Research paper thumbnail of BI Tools Analysis According to Business Criteria as Data Integration Possibilities, Hardware Specifi cation, Tools for Data Visualization and Comparison of Used Technologies

Nowadays, BI tools are widely accepted, given that they provide direct access to users with intuitive information generated by realtime data, which can create a competitive advantage. This paper analyzes business intelligence software tools that are highest positioned at the Business intelligence Gartner’s Magic Quadrant (QlikView, Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI) from a multi-criteria perspective in order to get an idea of the key performance indicators, such as: data integration capabilities, hardware specifi cations, tools for data visualization and comparison of the used technologies. The theoretical analysis is mainly based on the research from available literature on Internet and the visualizations are derived from the practical application of these software tools. Getting information from all state sectors is a very complicated task, dedicated to the State Statistical Office (SSO). This task cannot function without using highly sophisticated Business Intelligence (BI) tool for Data warehousing and information visualization. The objective of this paper is to elaborate the study on utilization of BI tools for complex statistical calculations in the SSO in the Republic of Macedonia. This tool has been implemented in SAS software modules, sophisticated statistical software for data extracting, cleansing, transforming and loading in Data Warehouse (DW).

According to the medical scientists, the exposome includes all exposure environmental factors, such as chemical and nonchemical agents, socio-behavioral and psychological factors as stress, diet, endogenous and exogenous factors from the whole lifespan. We consider the opportunities of combining a cloud-based Personal Health Record (PHR) with a particular patient’s disease and exposome data gained from environmental databases connected with date, time and location of measurement as an infl uential factor of their good behavior. The main prerequisite for this concept has to be the existence of reliable sensors that have to provide the needed data for this purpose as well as PHR data, secured by patients. If the patient with some chronic disease will have reliable and available exposome data in a machine-readable format, these data can be used for assessment of the heal...

This taxonomy takes into consideration users' intentions and also, the benefits of visualization for analysts, businessmen and managers who use financial and accounting data. We also explain the proposed taxonomy as well as the taxonomic framework which contains three groups of attributes. They are classified according to visual techniques and their capabilities. We have analyzed several multidimensional and multivariate visualization techniques, each presented in a table according to the proposed taxonomy. This table will determine their capability and capacity to solve specific visual problems. Evaluation of this taxonomic model for visualization of multidimensional and multivariate financial or accounting data implies the possibility for introducing an automatic selection of a visualization techniques and the best visual representation.

Also, there are some legal changes of the administrative procedures. For that reason, we present the old and transformed process with re-engineering of the software processes within the municipality. These processes support a specific topic which is part of the administrative document issues within the municipal sector of urban and communal planning. Instead of a classic software tools, web based solution have to be made. The whole solution is separated in two main parts: for public citizen service and the appropriate public administration institutions responsible for services. Our research's aim is to gain knowledge of administrative processes that need to be supported by applying software based solutions within municipality in the Republic of Macedonia by the local public administration.
