A few researchers contend that the acquisition of the second dialect tends to improve the cognitive abilities in various individuals, but at the same time it could hinder the same abilities in other people. Currently, immersion is a common occurrence in some countries. In the recent past, it has signifi cantly increased in its popularity, which has caused parents, professionals, and researchers to question whether second language acquisition has a positive impact on cognitive development, encompassing psychological ability. In rundown, the above might decide to comprehend the eff ects of using a second language based on the literal aptitudes connected with the native language. Learning has been a recurrent and inseparable activity of human being since ever. People have bee... more Learning has been a recurrent and inseparable activity of human being since ever. People have been inventing and discovering various methods and techniques to improve its acquisition process and ways. One's progress and development has always been evolutionary as regards to learning versatility. One has come to know various tactics, techniques and technologies according to the developing circumstances. But now, in the 21st century, it may be said that this process cannot be termed as evolutionary as it was in its place a revolutionary phenomenon. Science and technology changes the whole internal mindset as well as external perspective. Computer changes the whole scenario. With its introduction, the conception of electronic era emerged. Electronic learning opened a new chapter in the history of human education and knowledge. Virtual classroom concept came into being. Interactive means changed altogether. All these means prove to be effective in the human learning process.eb

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of blended learning vis-à-vis face-to-fac... more The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of blended learning vis-à-vis face-to-face instruction. In order to achieve this aim, three research questions including were raised. The study was conducted using the case study approach which was supported by the collection of qualitative and quantitative data. The study involved two teachers, one who taught the experimental group using blended learning, and another one who taught the control group using face-to-face instruction. The results showed that the blended learning instructor executed instruction better and used more effective methods of assessment than the face-to-face instruction teacher. This is supported by differences in students’ performances which show that the experimental group performed better by scoring higher means and recording lower variances.

The Albanian language is always influenced by other languages, including the impact of different invaders throughout history over the Albanian people. English language holds a special place as a global or international language. Its use affects all the languages of the world, including Albanian, where its influence has become more significant over the past twenty years. This happened due to uncontrolled entry of anglicisms in Albanian language and the need for appropriate terminology labelling as a result of technological development. The equivalents of current Albanian words are not used in the media or in public because of the prestige that that English words have. Lack of equivalent words is another reason for using more anglicisms. Albanian literature written from the 1940s to the present day can be called contempo-rary Albania... more Albanian literature written from the 1940s to the present day can be called contempo-rary Albanian literature, or in other words, World Literature after the Second World War. The allowed literature was the only method of socialist realism, which was ideol-ogized and politicized, i.e. subject to communist ideology and politics. It was not free literature, but entirely engaged in the service of socialism and communism. The meth-od of socialist realism had some very narrow and binding criteria for all those who thought of publishing their works. Such were the communist members, the positive hero and the struggle against foreign middle-class influences. In such a situation, we can say that it was purely subject to ideology and communist politics. Due to its very narrow scheme, most of the literary work written during this period had its own value and function during the period of the communist system. Pupils who are able to demonstrate L2 listening skills are able to demonstrate proficiency in other language skills. Due to the relatively unappreciated role of listening in language development, educators and language experts have been actively promoting the equal or emphasized enhancement of listening skills among students. Through multimedia, L2 speakers are provided access to several visual and aural L2 texts via audio, video, the Internet, podcasts, blogs and others. The use of multimedia in listening instrument aims to ultimately assist L2 learners in understanding L2 within the everyday context. The use of Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) programmes have been heralded as effective means of developing and enhancing language skills among L2 learners.
