Bu calismada Mardin Artuklu Universitesinde ogrenim goren ogrencilerin aylik gelir ve harcamalari... more Bu calismada Mardin Artuklu Universitesinde ogrenim goren ogrencilerin aylik gelir ve harcamalarini belirlemek ve bu sayede sehir ekonomisine olan katkisini ortaya koymak amaclanmistir. Arastirmada nicel desenli betimsel tarama modeli kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin evreni, 2016-2017 ogretim yilinda Mardin Artuklu Universitesinde kayitli 7582 ogrenciden olusmaktadir. Arastirmanin orneklem grubunu Mardin Artuklu Universitesine kayitli ogrenciler arasindan basit random ornekleme yontemiyle secilen 287 ogrenci olusturmaktadir. Belirlenen amaclara ulasmak amaciyla arastirmacilar tarafindan gelistirilen anket formu kullanilmistir. Arastirmanin veri analizinde betimsel istatistikler ile t-testi kullanilmistir. Arastirma sonucunda; en fazla harcamanin gida ve barinmada oldugu, kulturel/sosyal etkinliklere cok fazla harcamanin olmadigi, sehrin yasanabilir, ekonomik bir sehir oldugu gorusleri ortaya cikmistir.

The objective of the study was to make a comparison among the two countries according to the leve... more The objective of the study was to make a comparison among the two countries according to the level of sufficiency of educational resources and to determine the accuracy level at which variables related to educational resources can classify the schools on the basis of countries. Relational survey model was used. The sample group of the study was comprised of 186 schools from Turkey and 174 schools from Singapore for a total of 360 schools. Descriptive analyses and chi-square statistics were used to put forth whether there are differences with regard to the items. Logistic regression analysis was used to make an accurate classification of the schools according to their countries. Statistically significant differences between Turkish and Singapore schools were attained as a result of the chi-square analyses in all variables including lack of educational material, inadequate or poor quality educational material, lack of physical infrastructure and inadequate or poor quality physical inf...

This study is a descriptive phenomenological research that aims to reveal Syrian refugee children... more This study is a descriptive phenomenological research that aims to reveal Syrian refugee children' experiences within formal public schools in Turkey. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews from 28 teachers who teach these refugee Syrian students. Results show that the students are under the effect of post-traumatic stress disorders, they have problems understanding and communicating the content in class, there are issues stemming from overcrowded classes, teachers have not been involved in decision-making processes regarding these students, there does not seem to be an reliable effort to increase teachers' capacities to better deal with these students, nor are they effectively informed about refugee students. The study also presents discussion related to integration of refugee students into mainstream classes, lack of an effective system to address issues, and some suggestions for policy making in the case of refugee students.

Araştırmanın öğrenci harcamalarını konu edinmiş olmasından KOBİ’lere de yatırım rehberliği bağlamında katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
