The paper investigates the slow violence of climate change and this kind of violence whether affe... more The paper investigates the slow violence of climate change and this kind of violence whether affects the migration of the people and generates climate migrants or not. The paper focuses on two case study which is conducted in Kenya and, China and India to find this relationship. According to that, in both studies, these places have experienced slow violence of climate change due to reasons of desertification and water scarcity. The paper is given that these case studies found a correlation between migration and slow violence of climate change. The paper starts with giving some basic definitions such as refugee, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons, and climate migrant. Thereafter, the paper gives the general schema of slow violence to gain a perspective about it. Following, the paper focuses on the slow violence of climate change specifically rather than looking at other types of slow violence such as toxic drift, deforestation, etc. Lastly, the paper concludes that there is a correlation between slow violence and climate change-induced migration by giving two case studies. But, it does not assert that in such a short paper whether slow violence have generated climate migrants or not.

The paper starts by giving the description and the background of the practice. Paper first gives the explanation from the historical, cultural, and psychological laws. It asserts that wearing hijab represents modesty life, opposite to Western ideals, and helpful for psychological well-being. Following, the paper focuses on interpretation with the help of various laws. It argues that the hijab is seen as a negative image after the 9/11 attacks, and a problem for Western cultures. Lastly, the paper concludes that one should be use explanation to be neutral and embrace the other cultures' practices as a social scientist.

It is an undeniable fact that climate change will maintain increasingly by generating desertifica... more It is an undeniable fact that climate change will maintain increasingly by generating desertification, sea-level rise, ocean acidification, etc. Its most visible effect is climate migrants. Since there is a deficiency of a general definition for climate migrants in the international community, they face some problems regarding finding protection in the international area when they forced to leave their country due to environmental reasons. As not given refugee status and cannot be named as immigrants, an uncertain status is encountered. The goal of the project is, since those people are stateless, this situation will be examined from the perspective of the Right to Have Rights which was developed for stateless people who emerged between World War I and World War II by Hannah Arendt.

The paper commences with mentioning Jews' importance in the society within the scope of court Jews. Afterward, it gives reasons for the rising of antisemitism and, after antisemitism how Jews separated into two groups which are the pariah and parvenu. Following, the paper mentions overseas imperialism to show that how it rise the racist discourse. It elaborates the racial discourses more. Later, it examines the stateless and lawless situation. Lastly, the paper analyzes the structure, contents, and acts of totalitarian movements.

It commences with mentioning first immigrants who come to land and their democratic influences on society which is the dogma of popular sovereignty and, township institutions. The paper is structured around the potential pathologies of democratic societies. Following, the paper mentions the slavery institutions, the tyranny of the majority, individualism, and materialism as those illnesses. Lastly, the paper examines possible resolutions for those problems by mentioning the associations (free institutions), enlightenment self-interest, and religion.

The paper investigates whether Turkey's geographical limitations in the 1951 Refugee Convention a... more The paper investigates whether Turkey's geographical limitations in the 1951 Refugee Convention avoid the refugee influx to Turkey or not. The paper asserts that the geographical limitations do not stop the refugee influx to Turkey and the country still exposes to this influx. The paper starts by giving specific reasons such as being a transit country (Turkey), the Open Border Policy, the avoidance of refugee responsibility by European countries, and the Readmission Agreement, which are the reasons that keep the refugee influx to Turkey. Finally, the paper concludes that although the asylum seekers coming to Turkey cannot get refugee status because of geographical limitations, Turkey accepts them under different status such as guests, conditional refugees, subsidiary protection, temporary protection, stateless people, irregular migrants, and so on.

The world has experienced a refugee and stateless people crisis who were emerged between WWI-WWII... more The world has experienced a refugee and stateless people crisis who were emerged between WWI-WWII. In the book, stateless and refugee people, and migration issues in that time are examining from the perspective of Jewish refugee intellectuals such as Hannah Arendt, Moritz Goldstein, Otto Albert Hirschmann, Judith Shklar, Judith Butler, and Isaiah Berlin. The purpose of the book is that examining the lives, thoughts, and concepts of these intellectuals who confronted exile, migration, and statelessness. These thinkers faced migration and exile because of their Jewish origins, regardless of whether they identified themselves as Jewish or not. The Jewish question was never lack in their works.
