The involvement of soft tissues can be due to the over use, restlessness and improper use. Themain target of WRMSD are working indicuduals.it may cause muscle strain, ligament strain, tendon strain, tendentious and bursitis. Methods: The cross section survey was conducted and data was collected from July to October 2018 fromcivil hospital Quetta, Pakistan. A self-constructed proforma was used among the 97 patients who meet theinclusion and exclusion criteria and Spss version 23 was used. Results: The majority (n=49, 50.5%) were belongs to age group of 21 to 35 and were (n=51, 52.6%) weremale. In marital status majority (n=64, 66%) were married. In involvement of part majority (n=28, 28.9%)were suffering from lower back problem. After checking the type of injury (n=48, 49.5%) were sufferingfrom muscular strain. In the context of onset of injury majority (N=41, 42.3%) were exp...

Research paper thumbnail of Stochastic Models and Neural Networks with Prediction Equations: A Comparative Study Using Weather Data of Quetta, Pakistan

International journal of statistics and applications, 2019

We construct stochastic time series models like Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA)... more We construct stochastic time series models like Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Seasonal ARIMA (SARIMA) and Auto Regressive Moving average (ARMA) to analyze and forecast weather data. The weather parameters are maximum, minimum temperatures and wind speed of five years from January 2012 to December 2016 of Quetta, Pakistan. Daily variations has been taken to forecast data. ARIMA models are used to forecast and predict the equations for monthly data while the SARIMA models were used on seasonal data and it provides better results for short run forecasting.Weibull Distribution (WD) shows better results on wind data as compare to ARIMA. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models for prediction of weather parameters are studied and results are found better as compared to the classical statistical method. The experimental results show that ANN gives better predictive values then traditional stochastic modeling techniques due to their ability to deal with non-linear stoc...

Research paper thumbnail of Impact of Economic Parameters of China and Pakistan with Return on Assets and Tobin’s Q Using Statistical Techniques

American Journal of Economics, 2020

The study was proposed to test the relationship between firm performance with size, growth, tax, ... more The study was proposed to test the relationship between firm performance with size, growth, tax, and business risk. Considering the sample of 60 listed companies from Pakistan and China for a period of seven years spanning from 2007-2013 thereby making 420 observations. Random and Fixed effect panel regression was run based on Hausman specification test on pooled and country-wise data. Tobin’s Q and return on assets (ROA) were taken as dependent variables as indicators of firm performance. The data was tested for multicollinearty and its absence was concluded. However, Breusch-Pagan and Wooldridge tests confirmed presence for Heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation, respectively. Thus the regressions were run with the option of Newey-West standard errors. The study has found ROA has greater average for Chinese companies, which indicate that Pakistani companies have low accounting performance as compared to Chinese firms. Results also show that China has higher growth rate. The panel ...

TB is a potentially serious infection disease that mainly attack lungs. 27000 new cases have been emerging from Balochistan every year millions of people are affected and loose their lives. This study was undertaken to determine the prevalence and risk factors of tuberculosis patients enrolled in Provincial TB Control Program. Data are collected from health units of Quetta, Jafarabad, Gawadar, Noshki, Lasbela, and Loralai (Balochistan, Pakistan). Objective: • The aim of current study was to determine the prevalence and associated risk factors of tuberculosis. • To see the effect of weather on tuberculosis in winter and summer. • Comparative study of Pulmonary and Extrapulmonary TB. • To create awareness in people of Balochistan against tuberculosis. Methods: A cross sectional study was designed over a period of six month (Jan to June) 2016 comprises two quarters, winter and summer in six dist...

In the current designed study, the level of awareness was checked and the majority of students were found aware of SARS-CoV and SARS-Cov2 (Covid-19). Objective: To assess the awareness of SARS-CoV and SARS-Cov2 (Covid-19) among medical students of Pakistan. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was carried out in different universities of Pakistan from May to August 2020. A self-constructed questionnaire by Pursuing the clinical and community administration of COVID-19 given by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China was used among the 831 students who are enrolled in different medical universities of Pakistan and SPSS version 23 was used to analyze the data. Results: The majority (n=440, 52.9%) were male, (n=525, 63.2%) having age between 18 to 23years and (n=682, 82.1%) were unmarried. In educational status (n=501, 60.3%) were underg...

Material & Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out in different hospitals of Sindh, Pakistan from June to July 2020. A self-constructed questionnaire by Pursuing the clinical and community administration of COVID-19 given by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China was used among the 343 Physiotherapists and SPSS version 23 was used to analyze the data. Results: The majority (n=207, 60.3%) were male, having age between 33 and above years (n=227, 66.2%) and (n=304, 88.6%) were married. In educational status (n=230, 67.1%) were postgraduate and (n=304, 88.6%) belongs to urban area. During the assessment of awareness towards COVID-19 results showed that majority (n=321, 93.6%) were aware of COVID-19. Conclusion: This Study concluded that the physiotherapists who are working in different hospitals of Sindh, Pakistan are well aware of COVID-19.The awareness can be due to their self-interest in infection preventive measure and quality of education being provided by their respective institutions.

It's focused neurological deficit which usually happens due to lack of blood supply towards the brain. Physical therapy is a successful way to rehabilitate the patients and brings him back to the normal life. A cross sectional survey was conducted in different hospitals of Karachi, data was collected from January to May 2014. A self-constructed proforma was filled by 100 physiotherapists, and Spss version 23 was used. The majority (n=64, 64%) were male and (n=69, 69%) belongs to age group of 34-44. In marital status (n=79, 79%) were married, in education (n=78, 78%) were postgraduate. After checking their awareness we found that majority (n=84, 84%) were aware. The study finalized that majority of physiotherapist were aware about the effects and utilization of different physical therapy strategies used among stroke survivals.

To reduce the computational complexity of item set extraction, support constraint is enforced on the extracted item sets. The IMine index structure can be efficiently exploited by different item set extraction algorithms. This paper presents the IMine index, a general and compact structure which provides tight integration of item set extraction in a relational DBMS. Since no constraint is enforced during the index creation phase, IMine provides a complete representation of the original database. To reduce the I/O cost, data accessed together during the same extraction phase are clustered on the same disk block. The IMine index has been integrated into the PostgreSQL DBMS and exploits its physical level access methods. Experiments, run for both sparse and dense data distributions, show the efficiency of the proposed index and its linear scalability also for large data sets. Item set mining supported by the IMine index shows performance always comparable with, and often (especially for lowsupports) better than, state-of-theart algorithms accessing data on flat file.
